I was having trouble getting approved for the vehicles I wanted at the other dealerships, and I just wasn't comfortable. It was so refreshing coming to Wheels of Chicago. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and really knew what they were talking about when it came to cars. They answered all of my questions until I found the perfect car for me. 6 months later, I'm still Loving my car I got from them. I have even sent two of my friends there to buy cars and even got money for referring them there! Won't be going anywhere else for a pre-owned vehicle. More

Terrible All of the vehicles seemed very overpriced. I didn’t want to take time to shop around, so I went with this dealer- a big mistake. After two months, All of the vehicles seemed very overpriced. I didn’t want to take time to shop around, so I went with this dealer- a big mistake. After two months, the check engine light came on and I had to get a catalytic converter and some belts- they said that the converter was not covered on the warranty and that they would pay half. I had to walk down the street to rent a car as they do not have loaner vehicles. The A/C went out shortly after and there were other problems. The worst part of the experience was when I was almost done paying off the car, they called EVERY day and left messages about getting a new vehicle. I asked several times to be taken off of their list. When I politely asked (via email) one of the employees to stop contacting me her unprofessional response was “whyyyyy??” Like she was texting a teenager. This dealer has no redeeming qualities. More

purchased a lemon Ok, yes i heard they approve anyone so lets start and i'll be detail - they are nice they find any bank to approve you then if all fails they will Ok, yes i heard they approve anyone so lets start and i'll be detail - they are nice they find any bank to approve you then if all fails they will approve you and put their money to give you that car, except found out later it was them and mind you they said they will put good record on my credit report in which they did every month and great - this part of credit line has helped me a lot from couple years ago. Credit Approval - found out when approved i requested car fax and it was the jeep but notice a few pages were missing and informed the manager and he said he is not sure why but it appeared that way when received. After signing the documents he looked at me and say in a mean voice and was very rude and said you better pay your bi weekly payment (really bi weekly) and i told him hey people been nice here but there is no need to be rude and say i better pay or else they will take the care away from me. at that moment i was not going to agree with it but needed a car. told him to relax and if you had bad people prior you can't judge everyone to be the same. then my trade in was a a nice clean kept up to date car he wanted to take the car for 500 where carmax yes visit carmax before you go to any dealer and se what they mark your call to be sold as or traded for first - Trade-In - so carmax qouted me $2k and this place will give me 500 hundred so i played the game and said i'm ready or maybe ill visit another dealer back and forth until they came back and gave me a trade from 500 to 900 then later it was to 1,100 then finally to 1,500 lol really less than 500 but got more then what they did not want to buy it for. Insurance and car keys - so i had magnum insurance full coverage and so i lost my job and insurance was to high so i called and lowered insurance to liability and then a few payments later they told me to come in as there credit card / online payment process is not working and not sure when it will be working again so i appeared with my car and time later figured out what they were doing - since i had liability of the car i will make my payment as usual in person time to time and they said quote " Can i see your keys for a moment " like a dummy i passed it over and then a sales manager appears after making a payment saying etc etc we have been notify you changed insurance and now have magnum instead of state farm. So they were holding my car keys as ransom to get the updated information - passed it on and got my keys back. Then later i changed the full coverage to liability and told them i only have enough to pay for car payment and not much for insurance while they had my keys the 2nd time like a dummy to give them. i had to borrow money to upgrade the insurance to full coverage to get my keys back. So then later i downgrade the insurance again to liability from full and this time i appeared with my car but around the block and left the car key in a friends pocket they asked for my keys to validate the computer chip in the fob and told them i took the bus and train today to get here since i misplaced my car keys and could not provide to them. So the sales manager appeared again and said you changed insurance again to liability and informed him yes i did as i cannot afford it and sales manager said you need to place it back to full coverage - so what happen is i told him that it is was not in the agreement that i signed to have full coverage all the time. He gave me the agreement and it was like 7 pages double sides and long and yes i told him to look for it and he gave up on the first page and said its in here i just don't remember where it is? told him until he can provide proof i will not change the insurance and then of course he said well we can send a signal to your car in which he validated it to be GPS Enabled and disable the car told him this place is very shady for you to get your way - told him not very happy with the service here and i will recommend and create a website and blog to have everyone stay away from this place in which i did for awhile but post on a lot of other sites of these same comments of their site and car dealer scam. Mechanical Repairs - So bought the car loved it and then little by little the car started to break down, first the struts, then the oil pan, then starter, then my hoses, then the sensors. Spent about $6k in repairs to make it drive like a dream and bought the car for $12k wow yes this is a 2003 car and cost me in about 8 months $18k wow that is a new cheap car hybrid. Security - So time has gone by and well found out in my payments they installed this security device, to remind in paying your bill - at first i did not mind it and then later it became annoying and real annoying when it was close to bill date alerts every time you start the car and turn of the car and if you started it to quick you have to wait a minute or two for it to reset. Asked many of this device and said no actual dealer uses this but here they do because they want to make sure you pay or else it will disable the car and plus this device after having someone inspect it has a built in GPS so they will monitor you and know every where you go if they want to know but also if they want to retrieve the car for not paying or repo they appear and take it from where it is located. Keys - They say they do not have another key and said they have a master key in which is not true they have a spare key for your car they just say no there is only one at the end of my payments final and all i had to ask for it several times and they gave it to me. Title Transfer - So when i finished paying earlier as i was tired of this process, they refuse to give me my title and said they signed it and waiting for springfield to send back with my name on it and will take a few weeks - but funny thing is that i never signed it too approve that and they said not sure you must of signed a wavier because we are waiting for it to return. several weeks later it has been received in their office and said come on in and get your title but each time i appeared they say sit down and well talk about another car and i said no i have my mom and kid in the car and they said bring them in and will order food for them, i said we are going to have olive garden and they said we can order the food for you, but end up that they are making the call not paying for the food. And we said no thanks my title my title etc etc - finally they given me my title and found to see it is now in my name it is still in their name and asked why this was not transferred over and they said not sure why but that is your title what you wanted - so it was a scam to keep me there longer to reel me into another car so they delayed it thinking they would get another car from me - but get this they will not take your current car as a trade in - possibly because they know the history and problems they did not want the problems with the car - lol such a scam. Later on - After all the repairs and got my jeep running great and pristine it drives like a new car and came across this site because i wanted to put my input and details for each aspect that my work requires me to get another car but in black to be a chauffeur, and thank goodness i have been saving a lot of money so i can get the car and not deal with Wheels of chicago or related partners of this scam. Please upmost to stay away from them plus if you have the money go elsewhere maybe the payment is more money than make it work. If you do not have the money or the credit just be very detail of every you are about to sign because this security device installed they did not tell me until i signed everything and said oh wait there is something else and watch a video for 1 hour - i was a fool and i admit that - now i know better and will watch out when something is too good to be true.
