I have been taking my car to Westway out of convenience for years, in fact two different Fords for service. Lately they have gotten slow, rude service advisors, Juan was outright very rude to me last time for years, in fact two different Fords for service. Lately they have gotten slow, rude service advisors, Juan was outright very rude to me last time I was there. This last time they flattened a perfectly good tire and wasted hours of my time. Their service manager though is very helpful, the one thing I’ll say. I was advised that I should start taking my car to 5 Star in Carrollton and they immediately found 3 major codes that Westway should have found last time I was in. That really irks me as I asked Juan about some issues and he would never do anything but tell me I’d have to leave the car for it to be diagnosed. Now my power train is about to expire because he was too lazy to check codes. I have a major transmission code and a code on my fuel system directly related to something I had asked Westway about (Juan) multiple times. Now I’m leaving it at Sam Pack 5 Star and again, these codes were found in seconds. The car does have to be properly diagnosed but I could have been in danger. I cannot recommend Westway service dept to anyone and will not take this down even though I’ve been asked before. Westway very well may have cost me major damage to my car by not doing easy stuff. I had an Appointment for 8:30am to replace 1 tire that is covered over my warranty. And for my oil change to be done. I called in advance to make sure the tire was in stock and that it would be covered is covered over my warranty. And for my oil change to be done. I called in advance to make sure the tire was in stock and that it would be covered with my warranty IN ADVANCE. It is now 1:00pm and NOTHING has been accomplished. This is by far the worst service in the DFW. I don't not recommend to anyone. They are not reliable or helpful in any way. More
My name is Isaac Stubbs. I'm writing this email to express my dissatisfaction with the sales experience and demand the repair of my vehicle. I have communicated my concerns t I'm writing this email to express my dissatisfaction with the sales experience and demand the repair of my vehicle. I have communicated my concerns to the State licensing department for commercial automotive dealers and have copied them in this email for reference as this is required in the formal complaint process. I had an unpleasant experience when my vehicle was brought into service on 04/23. It remained there until 12/30/23. After I picked up the vehicle on 12/30/23, the check engine lights came on after two hours. I took pictures of the lights and sent them to the service advisor's cell. I received a call from the service advisor on 01/02 Tuesday and informed them of the problems I was experiencing. They suggested I take it to another dealership, but I refused as I wanted Westway to fix the problem since they last serviced my vehicle. I was informed that my warranty had expired since 09/11/23. I asked why I wasn't notified of this and was told that the service department had done everything they were supposed to do. I asked to speak to the manager of the service department, and I was directed to the finance department. Essentially because the vehicle had been in service for over 8 months which the warranty had expired. Shawn said finance could extend my warranty, so I spoke to Mrs. Angel Noguez in finance, who told me that the service department had lied to me and that they had no control over the warranty. She advised me to call the mechanical protection plan (MPP). I called (MPP) and spoke to a representative named Robert, who informed me that my labor was still covered under the warranty and that the service department needed to diagnose the problem to determine if it was a mechanical error or human error. I tried calling Shawn who is in the service department to communicate this to him, but he has not returned my calls at any time. I visited the dealership and expressed my frustration and concerns to Shawn, who lied to me, saying he would send a tow truck to pick up my vehicle for repairs since the vehicle is inoperable. He said I should expect it on Monday or Tuesday of this week, but I have not received any calls or texts, and it's already Wednesday. I am trying to handle this situation as diplomatically as possible. However, if I don't receive any response, I will escalate this matter further by making this public on all social media platforms and other appropriate channels. More

08/29/23 Had my Ford Edge towed in to the Service dept. at Westway Ford (Irving) to run a diagnostic ($195) I explained to the advisor what the issue was and what was done to the car the day before (oil ch at Westway Ford (Irving) to run a diagnostic ($195) I explained to the advisor what the issue was and what was done to the car the day before (oil change , new oil filter and switch), but low oil pressure light is on and the car keeps stalling . I don’t want anything else done to my car I just want the diagnostic ran that will tell them what is wrong with the car. 8/31/23- I received my diagnostic with "Needs Oil change, new windshield wipers, Cabin air filter, and front/rear brake pads. P0104 loss HS with PCM the car seems to have has water damage and wreck BUT Needs 2 more hours to see why the car keeps stalling for $390." So, I went to speak with service manager to ask why they did that instead of diagnosing what is wrong with the car which is what i requested. He didn’t understand the notes from the tech and will talk to the master tech to see what he thinks. 9/1/23- Received a call from service manager late Friday afternoon that the master tech doesn’t really know what is wrong with my car could be a loose wire or mod, but he needs $390 for 2 more hours but not guaranteed he will be able to find it in 2 hours so I could be looking at much more. The tech noticed when he turns my AC on it started my car. I said why wasn’t that in the report. He said tech forgot to add that in there. I said so we are looking at a possible electrical issue. He said he wasn’t sure. He would give me a few days to think about what I wanted to do with my car.9/6/23 I get a call from the service advisor asking if I knew what I wanted to do with my car. I said yes, I was on my way up there to pay for my car and tow it elsewhere. I don’t want anything else done to my car. I let her and the cashier know I will be having a tow truck driver here tomorrow 9/7/23 to pick up my car is it ready to go? They both said Yes. Its ready to leave. 9/7/23 Tow truck arrives and called me to let me know my car doesn’t look right and I need to come up there. I told him they were only doing a diagnostic... he said you might want to come up here and see this I got to the back lot and the inside of my car was completely stripped! Molding pulled, electrical exposed, tailgate interior removed and spare tire uncovered. It was impossible to find anyone that knew why this was done or anyone to repair the damage so I could tow my car. While I was able to argue long enough to get my useless $195 diagnostic refunded and finally get the interior reassembled, it took several hours of my day. Everything about this experience leads me to assume Westway Ford (Irving) are disrespectful, fraudulent and willing to dismiss, defraud and intimidate a customer. As a woman, there doing business alone, I felt very ill at ease and taken advantage of by a wall of condescending men. At this point – I feel Ford is incompetent, dishonest or malicious. This was so pervasive, I can’t imagine this being isolated to one dealership. More
