I called in advance to make sure the tire was in stock and that it would be covered with my warranty IN ADVANCE. It is now 1:00pm and NOTHING has been accomplished. This is by far the worst service in the DFW. I don't not recommend to anyone. They are not reliable or helpful in any way. More
We initially went there to purchase a used Ford Explorere. I did some research so I knew what years to avoid and their most common mechanical and electrical issues. I was confident on our buy. But Explorere. I did some research so I knew what years to avoid and their most common mechanical and electrical issues. I was confident on our buy. But the salesman Gilbert showed us a '20 Expedition King Ranch. My wife and I loved it immediately, so we bought it. During the buy I asked questions about the reliability of this vehicle and Gilbert swore that all of the vehicles here go through a rigorous inspection. I felt something was a bit off when he danced around the question about me bringing in a mechanic to inspect the vehicle prior to purchase. But blinded by excitement we purchased the vehicle. A day later the vehicle stalled on us, we started to get hard shifts and the check engine light came on. We brought it in, they claimed they fixed the issue but later that same night the vehicle stalled on us again. On one the stalls we were nearly hit by a semi. And now they are refusing to fix it claiming because since they replaced the catalytic converter and the check engine light isn't on, it's not their problem. We have to pay for the repair. We still haven't received our plates. Thats how short of a time frame this has all occured. I'd avoid buying used vehicles from this place. I'd understand if this was a month or two after the purchase. Sure, fine, its on us but a day later! More
Purchased a used car from here. 2020 model with 68,000 miles that “went thru their inspection process” and “everything was in good working order” within a week things started fallin 2020 model with 68,000 miles that “went thru their inspection process” and “everything was in good working order” within a week things started falling apart. My biggest red flag should have been when the finance manager tried to add $5000 on top of the warranty when I was in finance. I tried to leave but after countless times of asking for my key back from my trade, they refused to give it back. Yes, they held me hostage until I bowed down to sign the papers. They then pretended to be getting me into service to fix major issues with my purchase and had a sales rep acting like he was a manager and blowing my requests off. More
🔥BUYERS BEWARE! !! Please don’t buy a car here. This business has done a lot of unfair deceptive practices. They add on unnecessary fees, show you a lower credit scor !! Please don’t buy a car here. This business has done a lot of unfair deceptive practices. They add on unnecessary fees, show you a lower credit score than you actually have now stuck in a high interest rate, try to make you buy warranties you will never use and when I was shown the vehicle there was no sticker price so we bought at a higher msrp. Bait and switch. I will never buy here. We spoke to the GM Cody and a sales representative Angel both very disrespectful in person and chooses not to a read email. Westway Ford Irving is the worst dealership to buy a car. More
My name is Isaac Stubbs. I'm writing this email to express my dissatisfaction with the sales experience and demand the repair of my vehicle. I have communicated my concerns t I'm writing this email to express my dissatisfaction with the sales experience and demand the repair of my vehicle. I have communicated my concerns to the State licensing department for commercial automotive dealers and have copied them in this email for reference as this is required in the formal complaint process. I had an unpleasant experience when my vehicle was brought into service on 04/23. It remained there until 12/30/23. After I picked up the vehicle on 12/30/23, the check engine lights came on after two hours. I took pictures of the lights and sent them to the service advisor's cell. I received a call from the service advisor on 01/02 Tuesday and informed them of the problems I was experiencing. They suggested I take it to another dealership, but I refused as I wanted Westway to fix the problem since they last serviced my vehicle. I was informed that my warranty had expired since 09/11/23. I asked why I wasn't notified of this and was told that the service department had done everything they were supposed to do. I asked to speak to the manager of the service department, and I was directed to the finance department. Essentially because the vehicle had been in service for over 8 months which the warranty had expired. Shawn said finance could extend my warranty, so I spoke to Mrs. Angel Noguez in finance, who told me that the service department had lied to me and that they had no control over the warranty. She advised me to call the mechanical protection plan (MPP). I called (MPP) and spoke to a representative named Robert, who informed me that my labor was still covered under the warranty and that the service department needed to diagnose the problem to determine if it was a mechanical error or human error. I tried calling Shawn who is in the service department to communicate this to him, but he has not returned my calls at any time. I visited the dealership and expressed my frustration and concerns to Shawn, who lied to me, saying he would send a tow truck to pick up my vehicle for repairs since the vehicle is inoperable. He said I should expect it on Monday or Tuesday of this week, but I have not received any calls or texts, and it's already Wednesday. I am trying to handle this situation as diplomatically as possible. However, if I don't receive any response, I will escalate this matter further by making this public on all social media platforms and other appropriate channels. More
I would not recommend anyone buy a car at Westway Ford. Within the last month, I've been sold a car with dangerously overinflated tires, and the check engine light came on 2 weeks after purchase. After multiple attempts to reach out to Westway for assistance via phone, in person visits, and emails, they have either not responded or given me answers that any legitimate mechanic would find laughable. I discussed my concerns with Melina Gonzalez and Kyle Wenzel in person multiple times, and reached out to Dustin Egbers and Azalia Nava via email, and received no response from either. After receiving no support from the dealership, I took the car to an independent mechanic, who has estimated it will be at least $1000 to fix the issues with the car I just spent $17K on after Westway assured me that it was safe and in good working condition. I cannot emphasize how much I would caution anyone against buying a car here. My experience has been horrible, and Westway has made no effort to correct the issues caused by their oversight and negligence. Customer service/support here is nonexistent as soon as you write them a check, go anywhere else. More
Worse Experience ever, they made me drive from Houston just to close the door of the building in my face, even though, I was in constant communication on my arrival time to the dealer. This is not serious just to close the door of the building in my face, even though, I was in constant communication on my arrival time to the dealer. This is not serious people to work with. More
