I had previously purchased a car from here and had a great experience. I returned and bought a slightly used 2024 XC40. I purchased the car on a Sunday and by Wednesday was already experiencing issues. great experience. I returned and bought a slightly used 2024 XC40. Check tire light came on Wednesday and had to take it to the dealership, they addressed the issue promptly with no drama. On Thursday the passenger door would not open. I returned back to the dealership at 11 AM and was told there were no loaners so I had to sit there while they looked at it. At around 2:00 I am told the door needs an entirely new lock and must be ordered so I will have to return again. I am also told they might or might not have a loaner for me. At this point, I’ve been there 3 hours and find it unacceptable that this car is already having these issues a few days in. I asked to speak to a manager and was introduced to the most rude man I have ever encountered. Clearly off the bat this man had an issue with women and didn’t seem interested in helping me. I explained that I am repeat customer and would like some form of compensation for my time given that this car was literally just purchased days ago. He then starts to denigrate me for buying a used car and that all he can do is apologize. He was also sneering at me demanding what type of compensation I want in a raised voice. It was clear he was trying to intimidate and bully me as a female. I shouldn’t have to tell him how to do his job, a simple, we are so sorry, here’s a gift card to use at a later date, to compensate you for troubles caused by us and this defective car we sold you. Clearly customer service is not a priority for this dealership. More
