Casey was very helpful, I appreciated emails with pictures and info on cars i was interested in or he though i would like. Josh was nice at first but a bit push in the end. Kevin (I think that's his name, the Finance guy) was very friendly but I did not like that he automatically fixed a warranty into the cost of my car and I realized it because I had pre-calculated a much lower rate. I did not feel that was in my best interest and it took much longer then to prepare new documents with the original price discussed. Overall the experience was pretty good and I ended up with a car i like for a decent price, but there are definitely areas for improvement. I would recommend the dealership because they have a good selection of vehicles, but would warn a friend of possible unsatisfactory occurences they might run into. More

I purchased a 2000 Toyota Avalon fom Terrence Carney on 12/28/2011. Terrence was very understanding to my needs with purchase of this vehicle. The vehicle was in need of some service issues that would have to be fixed in order for me to accept the deal, All service that was agreed upon, was done in a VERY TIMELY manor. If there was a sleazy car dealership playbook Westdale Used Superstore would be the model for it. There business model is easy to understand. First, they are really going to low-ball you on your trade Used Superstore would be the model for it. There business model is easy to understand. First, they are really going to low-ball you on your trade in…big time and the prices on their vehicles are inflated. They will then work with you on the trade eventually giving you what the trade is actually worth making you feel like the dealership is taking a hit. The key is that they will not go down on the price of the new vehicle. I went in with a vehicle worth $10,000 they offered me $4,000. This is what they told me it would cost them to get a similar vehicle from their “wholesale dealer”. The vehicle I was purchasing had a sticker price of $25,000 but in the real world the vehicle was worth about $20,000. Essentially we worked and I finally got them to $8,000 on the trade in (they are a business I get it they can’t give me 10K for it). They thought the negotiation was over…and I said I’m not paying $25,000 for something worth $20,000. They explained they are giving me an additional $4,000 on my trade in and they are taking a hit on that. I said you are taking that hit because you low-balled me in the first place. Eventually I got them to come down on the sticker price too. During the finance meeting their “finance expert” tried selling me GAP insurance. GAP insurance covers you in case your loan amount is more than what your vehicle is worth. If you vehicle is worth $20,000 but your loan is for $25,000 the insurance company would give you $20,000 if your vehicle was totaled but you would still be on the hook for $5,000 to the bank. Well I put $10,000 down on a $22,500 loan and they tried to sell me GAP insurance. He told me I would need this eventually. I asked him to show me a depreciation schedule in which my vehicle would not be worth more than my 4 year loan. I told them they are being blatantly dishonest to me. I should of walked away but I didn’t. I like my vehicle but if you go there don’t think you are going to build a relationship with them…that’s not how they do business they are going to get you once and assume you don’t understand their game.
