I recently noticed my Toyoya Camry's inspection was expired and called Westchester Toyota to have my car inspected. I spoke to Mr. Jason Burns and he said that he would gladly take in my car eventhough expired and called Westchester Toyota to have my car inspected. I spoke to Mr. Jason Burns and he said that he would gladly take in my car eventhough it was late in the afternoon. I did not expect to have my car taken in the same day I called but I was presently surprised that Mr. Burns would be able to accomodate me. My car was inspected and ready for me to pick up in less than 2 hours. I was greeted by friendly staff including the service manager, Mr. Ritchie Leon. The reason why I always come back to service my car at Westchester Toyota is because of the professionalism exhibited by the pleasant staff who go out of their way to make sure that I am satisfied with the quality of their work. I highly recommend Westchester Toyota to anyone thinking of purchasing their next car. More

I was wearing hospital scrubs and still had smoke residue on my face and arms. The people there could not have been nicer. They sat me down, listened to my tears, I was still very emotional, and processed my case just as soon as they could. I had no id, no proof of ownership, nothing. They contacted the appropriate people, confirmed ownership and got me replacement car keys within hours. I especially want to say a big thank you to Chris Garcia who washed the burnt particles off my car and was just so nice. Thank you again and I'm just so sorry it took so long for me to post this. I was skillfully convinced to spend almost $700 on 30K service for my 2006 toyota prius. When I told Jose he was telling me that I needed much more than the manual recommends, he convinced me that it nee service for my 2006 toyota prius. When I told Jose he was telling me that I needed much more than the manual recommends, he convinced me that it needed to be done. After much remorse and investigation, I have determined that I was indeed ripped off! NEVER go to this dealer, but if you must - take your manual and do not listen to their sales job. Know they are an organization that does not encourage building their business with honesty and integrity, rather with the quick sale. More
On October 22 2008. I noticed some oil on the ground in my driveway under my 2008 FJ Cruiser.I called Jason Burns service advisor at Westchester Toyota who asked that I check the oil level and to see if it my driveway under my 2008 FJ Cruiser.I called Jason Burns service advisor at Westchester Toyota who asked that I check the oil level and to see if it was still where the owners manual specified. The level was full , he then asked me to come right in that day to check my truck. It was determined my oil pan had a leak. While I waited he had the technician Garris Martinez perform the repair under warranty. Bottom line is my truck was repaired while i waited w/o an appointment..just wanted to drop a note saying you just don't find service like that same day. More

When I brought my vehicle to Westchester for service, I found everyone to be very friendly and professional. I needed some routine service as well as other work done. I have had my 2008 Rav4 serviced at WT since new. I was a loyal customer until they started playing games at the 15k service. Things has gotten progressively more expensive in earlier services, but I thou a loyal customer until they started playing games at the 15k service. Things has gotten progressively more expensive in earlier services, but I thought it would get cheaper again after a fairly hefty 10k service. But I discovered with the 15k that there were lots of "add ons" that I didn't request (but of course got paid for) and wouldn't have known about unless I'd asked for an itemized bill. The bills they present you with are utterly indecipherable, unless you spend about an hour walking through it with one of their reps (Willie), which I did. They break down the costs in such a strange and fragmented manner that it's impossible to tell what's what. When you do get to the bottom of things, It turns out there are additional things like "dry gas" treatments that they don't tell you about but lump in anyway to a regular service. When I asked to see the bottle, not trusting that they'd done it, Willie went to the "back" to get it (another big problem - you can never see the service bays). Presto!, there was a bottle of some additive that had been "put in my gas tank." OK, so I'll take that at face value, but I wanted to know why they charged me $8 for something that had a price label of $2.94 on the bottle. Willie was unable to explain that. They also charged me nearly $5 for additional windscreen wiper fluid, and I'd *just* filled that up the day before! He later claimed he took these items off the bill when I got a revised version (half an hour later), but he didn't. He flat out lied. I didn't argue about these things because they were small potatoes to the wheel alignment problem. That was a beauty. Early in the morning, Willie claimed that the car (at 15,000 miles) needed alignment. I said "sure but I want to see the alignment report first". They didn't produce this, and then the alignment was done without running a computer report to show me the alignment stats for either before or after the procedure. The car was just brought around and $150 was added to the bill. I asked them to put it back on the rack and run a report, but with no "before" report the "after" was somewhat meaningless. Getting it back on the rack took about another hour. All in all I waited from 7;30am until nearly noon. The "gourmet coffee" and Dunkin' Donuts weren't quite sufficient to make up for my wasted morning. Total service bill: nearly $700 for a 15,000 service. Avoid these losers at all cost. THEY WILL HOSE YOU! They claimed they'd follow up with a phone call to discuss my concerns within the week. That call never came. More

I bought my Corolla from Westchester Toyota and, although the salesperson I dealt with was rather arrogant, I figured I could trust their Service Dept. During the winter storms in December I slid into a curb and bent my FRONT RIGHT wheel. Before heading to Westchester Toyota to have my vehicle checked out, however, I headed to Mavis to have the damaged FRONT RIGHT wheel switched with the BACK RIGHT wheel. (This was simply to make the wobble in the steering less pronounced.) I then dropped off my vehicle and simply asked that they take a look at the BACK RIGHT wheel. I then get a call from Willie Vesey telling me that I should "get my insurance involved" because I'm going to need a new rear suspension that will cost me upwards of a couple grand. When I informed him that there was no way I needed a new rear suspension because the wheel had in fact been damaged when it was in the front (and Mavis had switched it to the back for me) he literally hung up the phone on me. His manager called me a couple hours later to inform me there was a "miscommunication with the parts guys." Furious, I got my car back and had the wheel fixed at Mavis for $120. I then contacted Toyota corporate and Matt Dreier, the Service Director. Toyota Corporate proved somewhat helpful as they took my case but Matt Dreier, clearly displaying that the disaster that is Westchester Toyota starts with him, proved arrogant and unhelpful. It's clear that they saw a younger buyer (I am a 26 year old male) and figured they would take me for a ride. I have heard similar disaster stories from others who have bought and/or had their car serviced at Westchester Toyota. I am not the only one, stay away! More
concerning the last part of my review below: I have now written to the Service director, to give him a chance to respond, and I think I should have awaited his response to post my comments on the service. written to the Service director, to give him a chance to respond, and I think I should have awaited his response to post my comments on the service. My mother, who is almost 90, went into Westchester toyota dealership thinking she would be helped by the dealer of her car a Camery.
