This dealership is quite large and has alot of cars and trucks on the lot, so it makes shopping for a new car or truck much easier. In October of 2007 I purchased a 2008 Highlander from Westbury Toyota. On the last day of March (end of the month/1st quarter) we went to another dealer that was closer to home to look at a 201o Prius. Westbury Toyota. On the last day of March (end of the month/1st quarter) we went to another dealer that was closer to home to look at a 201o Prius. That dealer did not have the car/color we wanted in stock. I called Westbury and spoke to Mark. I asked if they had the car/color we wanted in their stock. I was told they did. I told Mark we would be there within the hour to look at the car. When we arrived at Westbury we found the showroom to be poorly lit (very dark) and not very crowded. Mark immediately handed us off to another salesman. This salesman then went to get the car from another lot. When he returned with the car we looked at it and told him we did not need to test-drive it as we were familiar with the vehicle. We then went inside to talk price. The salesman gave us the MSRP. I asked about a lower price. I was told “We don’t discount the Prius here”. The salesman then proceeded to pull out a calculator and say that he would discount it 1%. I asked about a lower price and was again told “We don’t discount the Prius here”. I gave the salesman a figure and he then said he would have to see if he could do better than the 1% by talking to his manager. He then asked me for a credit card to “show we were serious”. I refused to give him a credit card. He then wrote something down on a piece of paper and asked me to initial it. I asked what I was initialing. The salesman said I was initialing to agree to buy the car if the price was ok. At this point we got up and left the dealer. I felt pressured and I already knew I could get the vehicle at a lower price than was being offered.. Within 5 minutes of leaving the dealership I received a call on my cell phone from “a sales manager” asking what was wrong and why I left. He was somewhat abrupt in his manner. I hung up. I would not recommend this dealership now even thought I had previously purchased a vehicle from Westbury Toyota. More
Hertzel Halili was especially helpful quieting my anxiety and clearing up a misunderstanding that had upset me. Cheo, the manager, other than being a nice guy, gave me a really great deal on my 2010 Rav 4 Sport. He even included the blue-tooth phone technology & the remote start to the deal at no extra charge. Lastly, the finance guy, Cliffe Small, was really easy-going and took the time to answer my questions. I would definitley recommend all of my friends who are looking for cars to go see them. I've dealt with two other dealerships (both Honda dealerships)for the purchase of my last two cars and none of those experiences were as pleasant as this one at Westbury Toyota. They seemed genuinely friendly, honest and professional--- a real hard combo to find in this business. Thanks guys. More

I WENT TO ANOTHER TOYOTA DEALER WHICH WAS IN THE BRONX, NEW YORK,AND SPENT 6-7 HOURS I DID NOT EXPERIENCE THE CARE I RECEIVED WITH WESTBURY TOYOTA. WESTBURY TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS...MY VEHICLE WAS NOT THER NEW YORK,AND SPENT 6-7 HOURS I DID NOT EXPERIENCE THE CARE I RECEIVED WITH WESTBURY TOYOTA. WESTBURY TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS...MY VEHICLE WAS NOT THERE AT THE TIME OF MY SALE BUT WAS THERE IN 3 DAYS ON TIME AS PROMISED.CHEO WAS EXCELLENT HE HANDLE HIS BUSINESS VERY VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPECTFULLY HE ALSO EXPLAINED TO ME MY CONTRACT. JEOGRE WAS EXCELLENT HE SHOW ME EVERY FUNCTION IN MY TRUCK I NEED TO KNOW. (WHICH I DID NOT EXPERIENCE WITH THE OTHER TOYOTA DEALER).JULIAN WAS EXCELLENT ALSO, HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING CONCERNING MY RETAIL CONTRACT. Do NOT use them unless you like getting the run around then by all means enjoy because they dont return phone calls I call all day leave voicemails and I still dont get a call back its been a week I had to go there before the service manager would talk to me.
