Dear Ms. Coleman, Based on the findings that the technician found on your vehicle in order for your vehicle to pass the requirements set forth by the New York Department of Motor vehicle, the tire with the nail in it and the bulbs for the license plate would need to be repaired. These services were declined. All lights must be functioning and safety components must be in good standing. We do not require anyone to have the NYSI completed at our location, but NYS requires these items to be fixed. I understand that NYS requires tire be fixed and bulbs be working but, to pay $90 to take a nail and patch a tire and $80 to replace two tiny bulbs is absurd. I had nail removed and tire patched for $20 and bulbs replaced for $20. Instead of paying $170 I paid $40. And paying $40 plus price of inspection is still less than what you tried to charge this woman. My mother did not raise a fool. Funny how your answer never addressed the pricing you tried to charge me. You replied with your technical answer, one that I am accustomed to since I do work for the government for 25 years. And yes I already know I do not have to have my car inspected with you but the "free" is why I brought it there being it was supposed to be a perk. But free is not free when you JACK UP the prices to get items fixed. I saved $70 by not paying $90 to remove nail (almost price of new tire) and $80 to replace two tiny bulbs that literally took 2 minutes. Come on, face it you are crooks.

Shame on you. In this day and age when inflation is high and people are just trying to survive companies have no morals or empathy for human beings. It is all about money to you but remember one thing, you cannot take it with you. One day we will all be asked: "and what did you do? Did you take or did you give? Did you help someone or just yourself? Did you value material things or life?". I choose to give, help and love my neighbor as I love myself in all situations. I know the consequences of living life of taking, greed and selfishness. Blessings to you.
