I usually avoid having work done at dealers, and now I know why. My check engine light came on and so I brought my '07 Corolla in to have it checked. Also, I wanted my snow tires to be swapped and to ha know why. My check engine light came on and so I brought my '07 Corolla in to have it checked. Also, I wanted my snow tires to be swapped and to have my windshield washer fluid pump changed. The check engine light turned out to be 2 oxygen sensors, to the tune of $450+ each...for a part that could be bought for $50? I decided to postpone the sensor repair but made it clear I wanted to have the snow tires changed out...I picked the car up after hours, only to drive to work the next day and realize that my snow tires were still in the trunk! Nice...after back and forth with Mark the service manager he offered to refund my money, which is fine, but I really don't feel like I can trust a company that charges me for work that was never completed. Not to mention that no compensation was offered for headache, the wasted time, gas and energy of going back and forth to the dealer for nothing, etc. Even if this might have been a one-time mistake, I'm not going back to find out. More

We came back to Westbrook Toyota where we had purchased vehicles previously at the Old Saybrook location. I had called ahead of time and spoke to Kalani who greeted us as we arrived after introducing ourselves to Frank Mikolike. They both put us at ease and introduced us to our salesperson, Della Hamberg. From that point on, things went about as smooth as could be expected. Della did an excellent job explaining everything and Frank went above and beyond getting us a great value on our trade in. He also went out of his way to explain every question I had about the pricing and was able to locate a vehicle in very short order. Della is both an excellent salesperson and enjoyable to work with in the process. Her follow through on each detail was very appreciated. All in all, I would have been impressed had this been my first vehicle purchased, but, after more than 20 in my lifetime I can honestly say this was one of the best. More
My wife and I were shopping around for a small SUV and were looking at the RAV4. We worked with Syed Ahmed to find something that would work. While we did find him to be knowledgable and helpful, he was a little pushy and we never felt fully comfortable with him. We ended up buying a car from another dealer in the Lorensen Auto Group and even though we could have bought it from Syed, we felt more of a rapport with another salesman. My biggest complaint, was that the whole time, he talked to us as if we had already decided to buy the car. Even though we did put down a deposit to hold the car while we considered our choices, he had us watch a 2 minute video on glass-treating the paint job when we were trying to leave. I do think that the Lorensen Auto Group is a great place to buy a car, but we learned that the salesman absolutely makes or breaks the deal. Sincerely, Keith More

Mark took the time to explain in detail what the service entailed, walked around to car to check for himself if there was anything else that needed to be done. After 5000 miles, I was contacted by Mark Tigner and the service group. I made an appointment. I was very impressed by the 'state of the art new service facility. The entrance has an over head door that automatically opens and closes once you drive inside. I was greeted by Mark who explained the process. They got me in and out in an hour. There was a full explanation of all findings and the cost was reasonable. This is dealership focused on quality and delivery. I highly recommend Westbrook Toyota....they are determined to be different. More
I visited Mark Tigner at Lorensen (Westbrook Ct.) Toyota to get my sevice done on our new 2011 Highlander. I really wanted a Gen 3 after using the loaner and she found a way to do so for me affordably. I love Della's quiet and reserved approach to selling cars. She was always helpful, responsive, and always made me feel like I was an important customer. It only made sense to return after they moved from Old Saybrook to Westbrook to do business with this great dealership and Della of course. The new facility is state-of-the-art and wonderful to be in. I most like the honest approach this dealership takes from sales to service. Come here and ask for Della. You won't be disappointed. More

Due to declining inventory at present, Deb also worked extremely hard with her manager to source a vehicle from outside the area which met our exact specification. The process at Westbrook Toyota for purchasing the vehicle, financing it, and selecting extras such as the extended warranty and Simoniz treatment were thorough, prompt and always customer focused. Our many phone calls seeking clarification or asking new questions were always taken by Deb or returned very quickly when she was tied up with another customer. Her deep product knowledge and friendly professional manner made this an easy process. There were no nasty surprises once the out the door price had been agreed as there are with some dealers I've previously used. The trade in of our existing Toyota could not have been simpler. Toyotas are a superb product. What Westbrook Toyota does is combine this superb product with an unsurpassed service to deliver an unbeatable customer experience. We arranged to be towed to your facility where your service advisor, Cheryl Fleischer, immediately understood our stressful situation and assisted us from start to finish along with frequent updates. After thorough diagnosis work, your service technician Mike (Chuckie) came out to us, fully explained what he thought to be the problem, and referred us to a specific individual at the Lexus dealership in E. Haven, suspecting that required repairs may fall under warranty. (by the way ....it appears that his diagnosis was correct) Cheryl contacted the Lexus service rep on our behalf, referred us to Enterprise for a rental, and stayed in frequent touch with us until we were all set with our rental car and our vehicle was back on a tow truck. Your motto : "We Treat Every Visitor As An Honored Guest" was 'spot-on' in our experience Although we do not live in CT we will be letting everyone we know in your service area about your stellar performance.
