The service rep Lisa was very friendly and helped me with some billing complications. She was the only good part of my experience. Also now by some coincidence my truck is running rough when heavy throttle applied. I had inquired why my suv was running they way is was and making noise they replaced the drive shafts. It didn't seem to jive with me but I'm not a service tech and left it to what I thought they said was the issue. After paying the deductible on my warranty I'm still having issues. Its moderately annoying that further work needs to be done and time taken away from my day to day work. I'm not a wealthy man I need to be at my office to make ends meet. Now I have to allocate more of my time and $$$ to get the job completed More

Had an engine light coming on every 1 - 2 months on my Volkswagen. Took it to each of the other 2 local Volkswagen dealers and while the service was free (under warranty) I ended up waiting for over 2 hou Volkswagen. Took it to each of the other 2 local Volkswagen dealers and while the service was free (under warranty) I ended up waiting for over 2 hours for them to tell me it was a sensor and that they were going to start to fix it. 30 mins after that I had my car back. If I had an appointment, and these modern cars you just plug in and tell you what's wrong, why did I have to wait 2 hours for them to fix it in 30 minutes. At Schmitt's the service writer told me what the problem was within 20 mins of my appointment and the technician (Andy) had it fixed and I was out the door 20 mins later. Even thought it was the same sensor going bad all three times. It was only since I took it to Schmitt's that I haven't been back to the dealer except for an oil change. Thank you Schmitt's. More
