I am very disappointed in the communication and eagerness from this dealership. My truck has been in West Herr’s possession for almost a week without even being looked at. Worst service I have ever received at a dealership. Will not go back there again. I went in to the dealership I bought my car at for an inspection. Was told I needed new rear break pads to pass inspect Will not go back there again. I went in to the dealership I bought my car at for an inspection. Was told I needed new rear break pads to pass inspection and the rotors were getting rusty, the front pads were getting low and should be replaced but pass inspection for now. I was also told that my cabin air filter should be replaced and my left front differential was leaking but only the rear breaks had to be done to pass inspection. When I asked how long it would take to fix everything I was told about 6 hours. We discussed a shuttle home because at this point I already waited an hour another 6 was just too much to sit. I was then told I live too far away for a shuttle home, in other words, next time buy from a dealership closer to your house. Twice during my wait I texted the service rep at the number he gave me if I had any questions and never received a response. After 2 hours to do my rear breaks( the mechanic had to go to lunch). I am told my truck was ready so I paid the bill quickly and left. Looking at my bill they not only changed my rear break pads but the rotors too. I look at the vehicle condition report they put together before any work was done, and it says both sets of rotors are in good condition? When I went to pay I was reading the invoice and the cashier tore it from my hands, and then said, “ wait a minute I have to sign on to the system” so she had to wait to use the paper she needed so desperately she just ripped out of my hands. When I got in my car to go home I noticed the contents of my glove compartment are on the floor, and in my glove compartment was dirty rags?? To recap: They did work which didn’t need to be done. (Change rotors) No response to my inquiries Rude employee Left trash in my truck and did not put everything back in the glove compartment. I definitely think the dealership should hire a few more football players to do their commercials that will help. More
I Purchased a 2023 Tahoe LS from West Herr Rochester, and it was truly a pleasant experience. On a scale of 0-5, I rate it five. Service is a completely different story… I rate it zero. I took the Tahoe, with four hundred miles on the odometer, in for service on May 18th because it was flashing all types of error messages, which were diagnosed as being caused by a faulty injector. Due to parts shortages, the injector was not replaced until June 13th. When the technician took the Tahoe for a test drive, he noticed a noisy / jerking transmission that needed further diagnosis and repair. On June 19th I called for an update on the repair status and was told that there was only one technician who was qualified to diagnose and repair the transmission and he had an engine install and two transmissions to repair ahead of me. Further calls went unanswered. Emailed the CEO of West Herr… no reply. I contacted Chevrolet Customer Assistance and they have also been stonewalled in getting updates. The Tahoe has now been out of service for 52 days, meeting the legal definition of a Lemon (30 days). Totally unacceptable! More
