Unexceptional My wife and I recently bought a truck from Reuben Esparza at the Pasco West Coast auto dealer. The truck was the ONLY good thing to come from this exp My wife and I recently bought a truck from Reuben Esparza at the Pasco West Coast auto dealer. The truck was the ONLY good thing to come from this experience. Reuben lacked basic knowledge of the vehicle, and didn't seemed concerned with obtaining the info we asked for. He hassled us about writing a 5 star review for him before we even bought the truck. The next morning when we went to make the final decision and test drive it one more time, he told me, "you forgot to write that review". I said "no, I wanted to see if you would even give me a full tank of gas for the 5 star review he asked for". As we started to leave the lot for a test drive, of course the gas light on, my wife asked if we even had enough gas to drive anywhere. She is 7 months pregnant and didn't want to be stranded in pasco. He told her "I have someone I can call if we run out". My father in law, who was also with us, was not impressed to say the least. Reluctantly, Reuben put 15 or 20 dollars in the tank, and he told my wife that the owner's wife never allows them to give a full tank of gas with vehicle purchases, only 20 dollars max. He even called her a "gas xxxx". Keep in mind, it was a $37k transaction and 8k of that was put down cash. Also, Reuben told us he would "honor my wife's price" that she found on 2 separate websites for the same amount, but pulled up a much higher price that he claimed was his price. I was so confused because it was listed on 2 reputable sites at the lower price. And really? My wife's price would have been much lower if she had been able to name her own price. It just felt entirely like this experience could have and should have gone much differently, if there was a single ounce of care or respect for the customer. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and is the reason why I summarized this rating as unexceptional. It is becoming everything I expect anymore when I take hard earned money to a car lot, which is that all they want is your money and don't care how they get it including how they treat you. I won't return and I won't recommend. Enjoy that 1 star guys. More
