There are no words to describe the crazy experience we have had with this Toyota Dealership. You receive text messages from their AI to schedule appointments. You receive text messages from a AI computer program at 1:30 AM, 2:30 AM, what in world are they doing there in the middle of the night? then they try to schedule you for 2pm, then change it to 2:30 AM. You can not request to speak with someone to get your needs taken care of. After calling 3 times and leaving messages for someone to call you back no one calls back, so you try one more time as we did this morning, you find out that you do not have an appointment. Mariah is the last person we spoke with that actually answered the phone. Did not bother to ask your name, just pulled it up by the phone number. Mariah was constantly trying to do what she wanted to do and could have cared less if our needs were answered. After just getting pretty rude with her she still didn't transfer us to the GM, she put us on a Service Manager that was not even at work today to leave a message. As we told her we needed to actually speak with a Manager. This is not the 1st time we have had problems with this place. As soon as we bought the car, the tag was an issue for 2 months, then the service department wanted to start making money, so they attempt to charge you for things that you have not requested to be completed, just doing their job, When you are going into the service department when you have bought all of the supposed warranties that cover everything you are completely SHOCKED, when things aren't covered. RUN as fast as you can away from this place. They do not care about the customer only the sale. More

My driver's side seat requires replacement under warranty and have I had to leave a bad Google review for them to even call me back to get this issue taken care of. I dropped off my car for the weekend so they could replace the seat covers and called on Tuesday to get the status. Service department told me they couldn't find my car. After 4 hours I told them I was calling the police to report my car stolen and a manager called stating they did have my car. I asked for a picture but he refused. Now I'm trying to get my oil changed and get the seat replaced (still isn't done 2 months later) and no one will call me back to schedule. So I have come to the conclusion I'm not going to get any service for my service contract that I paid $1300 for when purchasing the vehicle. Don't purchase a car from this dealership. More
Extremely unhappy with this service dept. They replaced our working starter battery (2019 Prius) on Thursday, along with $1500 worth of repairs not covered under our existing 8 year warranty. The next morning starter battery low, could not shift or move car. Multiple calls, no help. Phone receptionists tell us to tow car in. Why should we pay for tow when the problem is an expensive part that they replaced less than 24 hours previously? The only call back was on old phone number that I specifically told them not to use. We are angry and frustrated. We have been customers for 10 years, purchased two vehicles from them. Oh yes, we also have a truck with a leaking moon roof that they supposedly repaired last year. Looking for another dealer with better service. Next car will not be purchased from them. More

Stay away from Wesley Chapel Toyota! I received a call that my car was due for an oil change and tire rotation service. I asked if that was covered under the maintenance plan that I pu I received a call that my car was due for an oil change and tire rotation service. I asked if that was covered under the maintenance plan that I purchased when I purchased the vehicle. After being on hold for a few minutes, the scheduler indicated that it would be covered as my maintenance plan expires in April 2024. When I received a call reminding me of my appointment, I asked again if this service is covered under my plan. This scheduler also confirmed that it would be covered and that there were already notes indicating that it would be covered and that she will make it even clearer on the notes for the service advisor. The next day, after the service was performed, the service advisor said that the plan has expired and if I want reimbursement, he said to "take it up with Toyota financial group." After explaining multiple times that I was told that 2 of their schedulers that the service was verified to be covered under my plan and that I would not have taken my vehicle to Wesley Chapel if it was not covered, he clearly did not care nor believe me. He asked me the date and time of the calls, which I provided. He said the service manager would call me back after 1 pm that day. He never called back. I have left 3 voice messages with no return call. To get my car back, I paid the cost on my credit card. Now I am denying the credit card charge and filing a Better Business Bureau case for unscrupulous business practices! Do yourself a favor, and stay away from this dealership! They are a mess! We are also in the market for a new Rav4, but we will not be doing business with Wesley Chapel Toyota nor will we ever use their services again! More

I've had better experiences at a buy here pay here lot! Not impressed! They ruined my credit score I worked over 2 years on improving. It went from a 721 and now I'm back down to a 560!!! I didnt have 1 late payment until they took over 2 weeks to pay off my trade in and since I was paying weekly my credit got dinged for a late payment and I had to make a payment on a car I no longer owned technically! Then they put over 15 hard inquiries trying to get me financed for double the sales price and I've sat in their service lounge far too long and not even had the oil changed, which I shouldn't even need yet, I've had the car less than 3 months and haven't even put 1000 miles on it! So if you did the oil change prior to selling it to me, like you said it had when I asked, then why would it say it needs one already? And that's another $80 minimum. The air bag warning light came on, another $175 diagnostic fee to see what's going on with the air bag not working! the battery died, the radio doesn't nor has it ever worked and they promised to look at it and now their saying it's going to be another $175 to look at it. The rear wiper fluid never worked. And when I mentioned it they tried to turn it on like I hadn't tried already or maybe they thought I didn't know how to operate the wipers? They charged me $1k for the Lojack and told me it would give me a discount on my insurance and not one penny comes off of your insurance for the Lojack, it's more so they know where to come steal it back from if you miss a payment and they have access to everywhere that car goes, how fast it goes, etc! I had a $5k trade in and put $1k down and I somehow still owe more than the sale price! It's like they couldn't get 20k financed on a 11k sale price so they are just going to have to get it out of you any other way I guess? I've placed many calls and left numerous voicemails, not one call back. I left messages with an actual person and she said she would personally give it to the sales and service manager, nope, no one single person has contacted me back. I don't see how their motto is exceptional service when I can't seem to even get any service, it's been the worst! I made an appointment for an oil change and waited almost 4 hours and then the service technician said he was waiting for the sales rep to talk to me about my radio, ok and why wouldn't I have wanted the oil changed which is why I came in while you were "waiting" for the sales rep to talk to me? I thought going to a dealership I wouldn't have to worry, that they would be better organized and professional. I've had to ask several times just for a copy of my sales contract, which he used the floor as a filing system! How professional is it when you walk into the financing department and see other customers files all over the floor with shoe prints on them! I had to go back 2 other times just to get my contract completed and signed again and it wasn't completed for 2 weeks, because he had a wedding to go to he forgot to tell me he wouldn't be there and/or reschedule me, then the 2nd time we scheduled for me to come back he was out sick, which I understand, but I don't exactly live close by either and technically I was driving a car around that wasn't even mine yet for 2 weeks! Then they misinformed me on the timeframe for transferring the insurance and my license and registration had a sanction placed on it to be suspended. I feel like they will do and say anything to sell you on a vehicle but when you actually need assistance, well, good luck! I could go on, but I'm honestly exhausted with this car and this dealership and I'm barely only 2 payments in! More
