my civic had the problem re the way the rear back tires were not supported properly causing multiple new tires and alignments. it was they said the back tires were out of alignment times 5. but there was a were not supported properly causing multiple new tires and alignments. it was they said the back tires were out of alignment times 5. but there was a notice and there was a fix. caused by flaw in the structual design on some civics.there was a dealership bulletin but not a recall. i had to demand this be fixed. service manager was not coopertive. i said i'm not leaving until you fix it. the bulletin was only to alert dealerships. i got the info/notice online at an auto forum.i got the fix with resistance.
