Lately Kia vehicles have been standing out for durability and performance. I went to Werner Kia wanting to buy a Soul. I had a problem with the purchase. The process took several hours and finished in a hurr and performance. I went to Werner Kia wanting to buy a Soul. I had a problem with the purchase. The process took several hours and finished in a hurry, late in the evening. The result was not what I expected. I had to go back the next morning to sort things out. The outcome was that I did not buy the car. I usually don’t like to think bad about people, so I’ll give you my most positive point of view: Being sitting for hours, waiting to close the deal, made us all tiresome and anxious. Apparently, the bank was having trouble handling information. In a hurry to finish the deal, papers were going back and forward to be signed and some papers were left out. That created the problem for which I had to go back the next morning. I have to say that after showing my distress, I was received with a very pro-solving attitude. Unfortunately, we didn’t reach a middle point for both parties and the deal couldn’t be closed. Suggestions: -. Always check thoroughly the car you are interested in. Take it for a ride and try all the features it has and compare it with other cars. -. Always know that under Florida Law, "The advertised price must include all fees or charges that the customer must pay". Florida Statute Section 501.976(16). -. People in the dealer earn their money from commission, They’ll be wanting to tempt you with upgrades, services and whatever they can offer. You must understand what is needed and what is not. Call someone with knowledge to help you sort things out. -. You do not have to give up your right to use the resources available in the judiciary system. You can refuse to sign any document with the word “arbitration”, this is because the dealers don’t like to solve things in court. -. You will be given a bunch of papers, but the only one that really interest you, is the Contract. Start with this one and review every detail. You should always call someone with knowledge and discuss the terms of the contract. Only sign when you are sure. -. The deal can be settled in more than one day if needed. He also genuinely cared about getting me the right car instead of just making a sale. Tyler the finance guy was also incredibly helpful and friendly! The sales manager, Craig, tried to raise the MSRP over $2,000 when we began negotiations but I feel I got a good price in the end because I came in prepared. More
