Just flat out lied to I bought a beautiful Avalanche from here and was told it had not been in an accident, according to the Carfax, but after it breaking down on me after I bought a beautiful Avalanche from here and was told it had not been in an accident, according to the Carfax, but after it breaking down on me after only having it for 2 mos, two different mechanics assured me otherwise. The warranty doesn't cover the problem so I'm down. I have no transportation, but yet I'm steady making payments and paying for the truck to be repaired. After being told there was nothing they could do for me, I'm sorry, but there's a bad taste in my mouth for WAB. I'm completely out of resources- no car, no rental, no 'let's make it right', no money after having the truck only two months. Truck also needs a motor mount and currently getting a new computer. I've replaced so many things out of my pocket...I'm just at a serious loss. More

Making Payments Please do not deal with these people. I just purchased a car from these folks in March. When I learned of the weekly payments, I said to them that I Please do not deal with these people. I just purchased a car from these folks in March. When I learned of the weekly payments, I said to them that I much rather do monthly payments; which wasn't a problem. So I paid the down payment and done all the other necessary paperwork to drove off with the car. My first payment, I went online and made a couple payments. In about a week I was called and told that my tags had arrived. So I ask could they mail it because I live and work in Durham and they are in Wendell. They said that they could not. So I left work early one day to try to get there before they closed and got hung in traffic on 540. I phoned them and advised that I was in traffic and could someone wait for my arrival or leave tag in the sales office. The answer was no. So I lost time for work and had to turn around because I would not make it there before they closed. I explained them my situation and as sensitive as they appeared to be about my concern, I was told in order for me to get my tags, I would have to mail the a self addressed stamped envelop with my return address on it in order for them to send it or I would have to send a friend or family member with a picture ID to pick it up. Whew!!! So I finally found someone to do that. In that same call, I made payment for the remainder of April and I mentioned the monthly draft option again. I was told by the office manager that in order for me to have my payment drafted monthly, I would need to put that in writing. Well needless to say, I never did that. I was driving when I was given that information. And if that was an option, then why wasn't that presented to me the day the I purchased the car??? Clueless!!! So guess what happens. I never put anything in writing but for the month of May, they drafted my account for $375.00 because its 5 weeks in May. Ok, no real biggie but I did question the fact that I never put anything in writing. So this month, I called because my bank issued me a new card and the one that they COPIED and FILED on the day that I purchased the car is no longer effective. I wanted to make the $75.00 payment that was due. The lady told me that I was set up on monthly draft. I said well I didn't put that in writing but I noticed that it was drafted last month; I just never had the chance to call and inquire about it. So she tells me to scan a copy of my card and my driver's license to them so they can verify who I am so that they can take the payment. I did that. Shortly after, I get a call telling me that if I want to go to weekly payments, I would have to come to Wendell and fill out a form to take me off the monthly draft or either I would have to go on the website to make the payment. I said so I would have to come to Wendell to fill out a form for a form of payment that I never given written consent to in order for you to take a payment???? She said YES.... WHAT!!!!! Please understand that I have no problem making a car note, but this has been the most challenging experience in all of my car buying experiences. I want to take that car down there and park it on their lot and accept my losses. This is craziness. No customer service; no sensitivity to the concerns of customers, NOTHING. Because they had bad experiences with other customers, everyone suffers. I'm going to talk to an attorney and see what I can do as far as returning the car. I really love my car and would like to keep it but I would rather start over with another dealership that is more professional and more caring. More
