Buyers beware and just know it’s against the law to be told you have to buy a warranty to purchase a car from them, no you don’t, it is very much against the law to be told you have to but warranty or pro told you have to buy a warranty to purchase a car from them, no you don’t, it is very much against the law to be told you have to but warranty or protection plan or gap, also our attorney advised us the arbitration they have you sign before the contract - well guess you DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN THAT EITHER TO BUY A CAR, yeah we didn’t know just like a lot of other people didn’t. Watch your paper work they will charge fees that you tell them you don’t want and charge fees that are false. I have recorded phone conversations and emails and messages where I was offered 40k plus my pay off of 8k they took the pay off out of my 40k they charged me two for warranty because I bought two vehicles and mind you neither added up to 40k at all, and they charged 2500 two times in accessories fees which we had none, plus delivery fees twice and was not delivered, just look at your contract I bet you will see stuff you didn’t notice. They don’t return calls and lie when you do actually get to speak with them, it’s a good thing I recorded the conversation, thank goodness for attorneys , I tried for months to get them to refund my money back to me, they stuck me with a 13 k note and there should have been a note period my car was 14k the truck was 24k where is the rest of the money at thief’s, google the BBB and other reviews the reviews on there website must be fake to get customers to come in. Do NOT Buy From Wells Auto Group (WAG) My wife and I purchased a vehicle from WAG on March 12, working with Justin Conway. We were told the car was being inspected and detailed, and waited in the lobby purchased a vehicle from WAG on March 12, working with Justin Conway. We were told the car was being inspected and detailed, and waited in the lobby until it was ready. On the test drive, we were taken on a short, pre-determined route (four right turns around the dealership). Shortly after buying the car, we noticed a metal-on-metal scraping sound when turning the steering wheel hard to the left - the test drive route makes sense now. We brought it to Honda of Burleson for service, who confirmed the car had pre-existing damage to the control arms, bearings, and brake rotor. The vehicle has been there for nearly a week, waiting for service. The photos we received from Honda clearly show a gouged brake rotor—something that any proper inspection would have caught, since brake components are a basic part of every safety inspection. That leaves us with two possibilities: the car was never inspected, or the inspection was done negligently or dishonestly. Since discovering the issue, I’ve contacted multiple people at WAG. I’ve been polite and reasonable in requesting that WAG cover the repairs, which our “bumper to bumper” warranty specifically excludes (pre-existing issue exception). I’ve been ignored. I’ve called, emailed, and waited over an hour and fifteen minutes on hold to speak with a sales manager—who never answered. Justin mentioned that WAG might buy the car back, but not at the price we paid just a few weeks ago. After all of this, I’m told by another salesman that the General Manager will contact me. Hours go by with no contact, so I call again and am transferred to Shaun who claims to be a sales manager. It’s then that I realized I’ve already talked to Shaun over the phone without knowing he was a sales manager. He pretends like this is the first he’s heard of the issue despite having talked to me over the phone, having received emails from me, and despite his staff claiming to have “forwarded [my] messages to a manager”. It gets better, AFTER introducing himself as a sales manager, Shaun reveals later on the call that he is actually the General Manager. Makes sense, I would want to hide the fact that I was the GM of WAG too. He proceeds to tell me he doesn’t have the authority to buy the vehicle back - even though in the same minute of telling me this he claims he buys 600+ cars a month. What started as a polite request for the dealer to make things right by covering pre-existing damage found in less than a month of ownership is now going to end up being a lawsuit. I’ve gathered enough information to take legal action. That is what we are going to do. Save yourself the trouble, stay away from Wells Auto Group. More
Buyer Beware—this dealer is very sneaky. They are great at putting lipstick on a pig. They sold me a car with multiple problems, including wires disconnected to lighting , windshield wipers They are great at putting lipstick on a pig. They sold me a car with multiple problems, including wires disconnected to lighting , windshield wipers and faulty/cracked brake disks. They even spray-painted the inside of the vehicle to make it look good in the pictures, which we could still smell when delivered (it also came off on our clothes). In addition, they didn't fix some things as promised before delivery. They carefully took pictures NOT to show missing bumper parts and hail damage. Run. There are other, more honest dealerships in town. More
Sales’s guy was easy to contact when it was the sale once he had the deal. It became very difficult to get a hold of him. Had the truck less than 30 days there’s already a wish issue the front right axle tha he had the deal. It became very difficult to get a hold of him. Had the truck less than 30 days there’s already a wish issue the front right axle that they should’ve caught easily but you don’t recognize unless you’re turning. It’s almost been 30 days. I bought a used F-150 with low miles from Wells Auto group in Nov 2024. Moe was a great salesperson, the price was transparent, the process was easy, there weren't any hidden costs. I bought the car s group in Nov 2024. Moe was a great salesperson, the price was transparent, the process was easy, there weren't any hidden costs. I bought the car sight unseen and Moe sent me several videos to ensure i felt comfortable. I was really happy with the honesty, the process, the quality of the truck and the price. I know folks like to post about their bad experiences (which worried me) but I was pleasantly surprised at how much easier it was to deal with Wells Auto Group than my local Ford dealership. More

Buyer beware of this crooked dealership . There vehicles are junk . We bought a 2015 Toyota Tundra two weeks ago . We did everything online and the delivered it to our door step . With a bed There vehicles are junk . We bought a 2015 Toyota Tundra two weeks ago . We did everything online and the delivered it to our door step . With a bed full of trash . That’s just for starters . The truck was half clean the seats were exceptionally clean like they were brand new floors mats were filthy . The inside smelled heavily of cigarette smoke . We took it for a drive after they dropped it off and far as we could go safely was around the block it was banging clacking and all over the road . The shocks are blown completely out there isn’t even a bushing in one of them there so bad . The tire rods are busted the tires are severely out of balance and it needs an alignment. It shakes so bad over 20 mph the transmission shutters between each gears . The tires are also evenly wore and bald. The oil was definitely not changed it was very black . The coolant however was over filled .was supposed to have 104 k when we got it had 106k .we haven’t been able to even enjoy our truck because we have to get it repaired first due to not being safe to drive . They won’t return calls, text , or emails about these issues . I did get one email stating it was not there’s and contact the bank we used to finance the truck with . Excuse me aren’t these things that should be fixed by you the dealership that we bought from. I would think they would notice these issues since someone drove it apparently anout a 1,000 miles . Just beware of this dealership. It’s costing us about 1500 /2000 to fix a vehicle we just purchased before it’s drivable . This is unacceptable in my books . More
Run dont walk away from this dealership. . how they have 4.4 star reviews seems awfully deceptive. Buying a used truck from them was a nightmare. As soon as we got home our truck was leaking . how they have 4.4 star reviews seems awfully deceptive. Buying a used truck from them was a nightmare. As soon as we got home our truck was leaking oil all over our driveway. We had a mechanic inspect the problem and he said yep they sold you a damaged car and they slapped on cheap band aid to hide the problem he even said they sprayed on a ton of degreaser around the oil leak to deceive anyone looking at this car. On our drive home we found our parking sensors are broken it has over 10 codes thrown and our cruise control does not work on top of that after having this truck for less than a month we had to replace both batteries. Doing business with this dealership costed us thousands of dollars in extra repairs. But I sincerely hope this review makes anyone who reads this run to another dealership. I want Wells Auto Group to lose an untold amount of money for screwing us over. More
There is only one way to describe my experience at Wells Auto Group: xxxx on earth. While that may sound harsh, let me explain. I went in looking to test drive a 2016 Ford Escape. When I arrived, I was g Auto Group: xxxx on earth. While that may sound harsh, let me explain. I went in looking to test drive a 2016 Ford Escape. When I arrived, I was greeted by Josh, who was wonderful throughout our interaction. He helped us test drive the car, and after some questions, we decided we liked it and wanted to purchase it. That's when we met Adel, the finance person who would help us with our purchase. Our initial interaction was pleasant enough, and we discussed and confirmed the pick-up time and date. We came in on Monday at our scheduled pick-up time to find the car was not ready. Despite promising us the car would be ready, we learned it had not even been inspected, even though they told us it had. We assumed there was no issue. WRONG. The car came back with a failed inspection. They asked if we could come another day, but as we had told multiple staff members, the only reason we made the deal was that we needed to pick it up that day to move to Colorado. At this point, we asked to speak to Adel again to figure out what happened. He proceeded to not come out for 2.5 hours while we waited for them to figure out what was wrong with the car. My father, who has a hearing impairment, went back to his room and sternly asked where the car was and why Adel was hiding from us. In response, Adel told us to GO TO xxxx and THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE. This was directed at a 22-year-old girl and a man with a hearing impairment who did not threaten any violence. How is he still employed there? Ask the service manager we complained to. If that wasn't enough, the service manager then told us the car would not be ready until the next day. This was not the deal we agreed upon, but they had already taken the title of the car we traded in, so we saw no other way to complete the transaction and get to Colorado. The next day, we came to pick up the car, and they ended up pushing back the pick-up time from 11 AM to closer to 3 PM because of how long the repair and remaining paperwork took, despite being clear that the job needed to be done before 11 AM because we had a 13-hour drive left that day. Due to all the delays, we got to Colorado at 3 AM, 4 AM Texas time, and I had to start work the next day at 9 AM. When picking up the car, Adel came up to me to apologize. However, in his apology, he argued with me about whether or not my dad was in the wrong. This did not seem very sincere to me. Once again, how is he still employed? On our way up to Colorado, our engine light came on. Why? Because they never actually fixed the part that caused the check engine light. I called the next day to figure out what part they replaced, and it took them 24 hours to get an answer. Why were we not notified of the part at the time of sale on paper? Why was it not in the notes on our chart? Why did it take 24 hours to get a response? Because they never fixed the root issue of the engine light that caused the car to fail inspection. Finally, Shaun, the sales manager, got involved. Shaun and Josh were the only two people in the place who seemed competent and helpful, so thank you to them both. Shaun worked with a local shop to cover the cost of repairs, but only after I had to fill him in on all the other issues we had because no one had notified him! The other issue that still remains is the promise that the car has working CarPlay. SHOCKER, it doesn't. Also, I flagged to them that the backup camera was working intermittently, and they told me it worked fine. No shocker, it now turns on intermittently upside down with lines through the screen. Needless to say, this place is closer to xxxx on earth than a car dealership, and that's saying something. I have never dealt with such unprofessional people in my life. To say car dealerships stink is but this place takes that definition to a whole new level. The only person I want to talk to at this place is the owner. More
