I am giving Wellesley VW a very high grade because the service department ALWAYS goes above and beyond the call of duty for me--each and every time I enter their doors and I have been going to Wellesley V service department ALWAYS goes above and beyond the call of duty for me--each and every time I enter their doors and I have been going to Wellesley VW for several years now. Ian Bray, Michael DOmings, Mike Kandalaft, Jamie Mitchell are all THE VERY BEST! Each one makes the time to see me about any issues and to look at my car, converse with me about any problems, and they always display wonderful, gentleman-like behaviour. Very rare these days!!! I have had a couple of occasions where kind of bizarre things happened to my car (all my fault) and they never questioned me about the incidents. I have always been treated with the utmost respect. I really enjoy these guys and the whole staff. Joan is always so pleasant to deal with, too. Overall, one fabulous organization!!! Kudos to all! Barbara Camp More

When I arrived at the dealership and spoke with the Asst. manager Michael Domings he put my mind at ease the all the work would be completed in a timely manner. This was more than true. Michael not only diagnosed my car but made arrangements for me to have a rental car waiting. I can say when owning an older model car I sometimes worry about the work being done honestly and at a reasonable price. I felt my trip to Wellesley VW was pleasant and stress free. I would refer to anyone looking for a dealership with friendly, knowledgable employees to Wellesley VW. More
I've had VW's for over 10 years and have really loved working with Wellesley VW. This particular time I had a regular service schedule and needed my windshield replaced, they truly went above and beyond working with Wellesley VW. This particular time I had a regular service schedule and needed my windshield replaced, they truly went above and beyond. Not only did Jamie schedule the 3rd party to come fix the windshield but he worked with my insurance company to make sure it was covered and I was not charged. Mike also went above and beyond with the regular service, explained absolutely everything and let me know of upcoming service I should plan on. This service team is actually a factor in my deciding what kind of care to get when my lease is up! More
I have been dealing with Wellesley Volkswagen since the 1960's. I think that under this current ownership team, they have assembled a fantastic service team. I deal primarily with Ian Bray, and Ian consistently goes above and beyond my expectations when servicing my Golf TDI. I cannot state how helpful everyone is in their service department. When necessary, Ian qwill escort me to the service area where my vehicle is beibng serviced to show me and consult with the technicain about something they have discovered or which may need correction in the near future. They provide the option to me to defer or have the item fixed during that visit. This is especially helpful since many times they have to 'undo' things again that are current apart for the current service, so in the long run, my repair costs are less overall. This is what exceptional customer service is all about. I will not hesitate using them for my VW service, nor would I hesitate to recommend them to others. More
This review is for the PARTS DEPT at Wellesley. I was in need of an extra storage drawer to go under my seat (an uncommon part) which Dave was able to quickly track down and order for me. I have been having my 2007 Eos serviced at Wellesley VW since February 2007, when I bought the new car. Have used this dealer to service my Phaeton since March, 2007. They are far superior to VW of Boston in that they seek to RETAIN customers and have repeat business. Super rip off and no customer care - this place charged me 2 hours of labor for a 0.5 hour job, and were unapologetic when I argued about it. I had an appointment and brought the car in at 7:30am to have me 2 hours of labor for a 0.5 hour job, and were unapologetic when I argued about it. I had an appointment and brought the car in at 7:30am to have the latest VW recall work done and to have the LATCH system installed on one side of my 2001 passat. The LATCH system had already been done for the other side and it took 0.5 hours according to my invoice from VW Brookline from a couple years back. VW Wellesley said the car would be ready by 2pm. I called at 2 and they said 2:30. I was there at 2:30 and it still wasn't ready. I complained at 3pm and it turns out my car had just been sitting in the lot waiting. I go to pay and the bill was $224.03 - parts plus 2 hours of labor. I talked to the service manager and he defended the 2 hours to bolt two pieces of metal to the frame. This place is worthless. I'd never go back. More
