I had been mulling over getting a new BMW for some time and decided to go test drive one. I was given attention immediately. I drove the car and had a number of things explained. After some time I was given an offer for my trade in and what payments would be. I was unhappy with the offer because it was not specific enough, but I went home to think it over. I was contacted the next day but was away and did not get the call before closing time. I was contacted the next day and went back. I was offered pricing on another BMW and they altered the offer some, at least enough for me to rethink the deal. I have always hated haggling over a car, the price, etc. and am usually disgusted by the time I settle, but this time I felt I had been treated fairly, and although I could have gone elsewhere and maybe obtained a better deal, I was content to take what we settled on. I did not feel pressured and the sales and financial people were friendly and efficient. More
