SERVICE DEPARTMENT REVIEW Seems like when there is a problem with the car it takes 2 times to actually fix it. Will no longer use their service department or buy vehicles from their dealership. I brought my car to this dealership for an ignition issue and was quoted $660 plus tax on Friday, January 31st, with a promised completion date of Monday. Today is February 4th, and I received a call stating and was quoted $660 plus tax on Friday, January 31st, with a promised completion date of Monday. Today is February 4th, and I received a call stating that the total had jumped to around $1,300 because they supposedly had to do additional work—work I never authorized. After speaking with the manager, they dropped the price to $1,000, but that’s still not what I originally agreed to. The lack of communication and unexpected price hikes are completely unacceptable. I should not have to negotiate my way back down to a fair price when an agreement was already made. Beware of this dealership’s shady pricing practices. If you bring your car here, get everything in writing and prepare for them to try and charge you more than what was originally quoted. I will not be returning. More

If I could leave 0 stars I would but unfortunately 1 star is the lowest I could select. Worse dealership I’ve ever been too so far, we took my truck there to be checked out because of a noise we’ve been hear is the lowest I could select. Worse dealership I’ve ever been too so far, we took my truck there to be checked out because of a noise we’ve been hearing especially before I get on the road. They checked it and said they didn’t hear anything and nothing was wrong, we get on the road a couple of days later and get almost 4 hours away from home and the truck runs hot, so we end up stuck on the side of the road, waiting for a tow truck to come and pick it up, which all this happens on a Saturday when no shops are open. Now I have to get someone from home (4 hours) away to come pick me up. That following Monday the shop where my abondoned car ended up at calls to say they took a look and it was a bad water pump and because the truck overheated it caused a blown head gasket. xxx!!! All that could’ve been avoided if the Weber Chevrolet Dealer in Granite City, IL would have just checked it like I asked them to in the first place when I brought it in. Now they are saying they are not responsible. This dealership will never get my business nor anyone I know business ever again. They ended costing me money for something that could’ve been very simple to begin with. More
