I waited for new I purchased parts through mazdafactorypart.com that Wayne Mazda runs. First parts a received were damaged. They replaced the parts. I waited for new parts to come and tried to return all the parts together as a lot. I called multiple times and multiple emails to contact them. No reply. Disputed the charge with my credit card company. Wayne Mazda contacted them and told them I never returned the parts. Well duh. I dont have an RMA or anything to return them with. I am not blindly going to send parts back to the dealer. This place is bad news and so is their website that they sell parts from. 3 months later and still no word from them. More
Employee recognition I wanted to write you to let you know that your employee, Jose, went above and beyond the call of duty today. I came into your dealership because I h I wanted to write you to let you know that your employee, Jose, went above and beyond the call of duty today. I came into your dealership because I had a problem with my key fob. It wouldn't work anymore and I was not sure if it was defective or not, and honestly, felt a little embarrassed to ask because, to me, it sounded like a stupid question. When I told him that, Jose responded that "there is never a stupid question", which put me totally at ease. He was extremely cordial, very nice and very professional in fixing my key fob. It was the battery that was bad. He then escorted me to my car to see if it worked, which it did. As we were talking, he noticed that I had a new Iphone and asked if I liked it. I told him that I did but didn't know how to synch it up to my car. Without me asking him, he took it upon himself to do it for me, which I was very grateful for. I've never been treated as kind, respected or as caring at a car dealership as Jose treated me today. He is an asset to your dealership and someone who needs to be recognized for that. More

The staff was knowledgeable and courteous, did not pressure us to purchase and helped us to make the right choice for our needs. Wayne Mazda is not to be trusted! We will NEVER return to Wayne Mazda unless they are giving us a new car with no strings attached! We know that will not happen. My wife needed to d We will NEVER return to Wayne Mazda unless they are giving us a new car with no strings attached! We know that will not happen. My wife needed to drive our Mazda 3 to SC for and emergency. Although I keep our cars serviced the engine light was coming on because the oil needed to be changed so I took it to WAYNE MAZDA. First of all I set in the waiting room for about 4 hours or more, which was ok because I had work to do on my laptop. When I was finished with my work I was surprised no one had come to tell me how my car was. When I asked at the counter they were surprised as well that no one had talked to me. At any rate, they told me that my car too old and in order to make it safe enough for my wife to drive it to SC, they would have to repair a list of 18 things that would total $3,855 or $4,000. Given the cost of repairs, the guy at the service desk said that if I traded my 2004 Mazda 3 in, I’d only get less than $2,000 on it so he tried to convince me that I should buy a new one. He took me to a salesman because I asked how much would a new one coast? Although the salesman tried and tried to get me to buy a new car I said no and that I needed to think about it a little longer. When I got our Mazda 3 back from the mechanics, it was in much worse shape than it was when I took it in for what I thought would just be an oil-change to make the engine light stop coming on. The car was now pulling to the right, the engine light stayed on constantly, and the car was making more noise constantly. I told the guys at the counter that the car is much worse now since they looked at it he just said that it’s because they lifted it up and assured me that they put everything back correctly. Knowing the good care that I take of our cars, I decided to take my car to PEP-BOYS in Verona, NJ. I told them to do a thorough diagnostic and to check everything to make sure our Mazda 3 was safe enough for the trip to SC. I also gave them the list of things Wayne Mazda said were too bad to put the car on the road to SC. The mechanics at PEP-BOYS came back and told me, “It looks like someone wanted you to come back to Wayne Mazda because they completely disconnected the wire that turns off the engine light”. They also checked the list of 18 things and said that they are nowhere near as bad as Wayne Mazda made it seem they wanted you to buy a new car. PEP-BOYS repaired our Mazda 3 for less than $500! From $3855 or $4,000, down to less than $500! Wayne Mazda told me that 5 of the 18 things on the list had to be fixed before my wife could drive it to SC. Wayne Mazda had inflated the list of repairs to convince me to buy a new car from them! My wife drove the car to SC from NJ and back without any issues what so ever. My wife and I always felt that every time we took the car to Wayne Mazda it always seemed that it wasn’t repaired properly or that they just go through the “Full Circle” inspection list and only check the boxes on the paper without checking the car. It’s like Wayne Mazda’s mechanics think that if the customer doesn’t complain about it than it must be fine or let’s say it’s worse to make more money. As the Wayne Mazda salesman was showing me a new 2015 Mazda 3 a very pleasant and kind looking lady walked by the salesman and me and said, “Please don’t buy a car from Wayne Mazda you will be very sorry you did”. I didn’t pay attention to her and looked at the salesman as he tried to act as if he hadn’t heard her at all. She was so very right and I’m so glad I didn’t buy a car from Wayne Mazda especially if they are unplugging wires in an effort to get me to buy a new car. I thought Wayne Mazda would provide better service after remolding and new people at the desks but it’s gotten unbelievably worse. If you are contemplating buying a car from Wayne Mazda, using their service center or dealing with them in any way at all please go to another dealership or you will be sorry. Phillip More

They need to hire knowledgeable and capable service advisors I had been servicing my mazda at this dealer for past few years; mainly being near my home. There have been quite a few occasions where I had been thi I had been servicing my mazda at this dealer for past few years; mainly being near my home. There have been quite a few occasions where I had been thinking as to why I keep continue coming back. Maybe because I was lazy driving bit farther to a better service place. Following are few of highlights of incidents which stand out 1) I had power steering fluid flushed around 45K miles since it was quite dirty. After getting the service done, I went to Ramsey service to get one of my fog lamps installed since they were cheaper by $200 than Wayne Mazda. The Ramsey service advisor told me that my power steering fluid was very dirty. I went back to Wayne Mazda and they realized that it was still dirty and would not answer my question if it was changed correctly or even done at all. They did the service again after realizing that this could be quite bad if I raised my concern in front of other customers there. 2) I wanted to put 18" custom rims on the vehicle and asked the service advisor how hard it would be to program/connect the TPMS. He had no clue but insisted that this was not possible at all. I went to Firestone and the mechanics laughed and installed tires/rims in half an hour. They said Mazda vehicles are easiest to connect with TPMS 3) I went for an oil change recently and asked the service advisor to check the engine air filter that I would like to replace if it was dirty. He said they would not check it but can only replace it! He did not want to help or earn any business. Quite stupid. I decided not to go to this service place again. Their wait is horrible at times (even with an appointment). Last oil change/tire rotation took about an hour and half. More
Worst service department I have ever experienced! My car was overheating and I had it towed to Wayne Mazda, while it was there I specifically asked them to check if the problem was due to a bad head My car was overheating and I had it towed to Wayne Mazda, while it was there I specifically asked them to check if the problem was due to a bad head gasket. Rob the representative told me after diagnosing the car that the head gasket does not need to be checked and that they will start with replacing the thermostat and the coolant temperature sensor. Picked up the car after paying a hefty charge and it is still overheating. Brought the car back and I am now being told that the actual problem is indeed the head gasket. Misdiagnosing the problem after specifically asking to check for it is unacceptable. No refund of any type has been given. Do not go to Wayne Mazda for service! More

-ZERO STARS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I came here to get my remote key programmed. After 2 hours of patiently waiting and $107, I get in the car and the remote key doesn't work. Alex my customer serv to get my remote key programmed. After 2 hours of patiently waiting and $107, I get in the car and the remote key doesn't work. Alex my customer service representative explained to me that only the key was programmed and cut. The remote wasn't because that's two separate procedures and I didn't specify that I wanted both things programmed... REALLY, HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT? I handed Alex one item the remote with the key in it. He never informed me THAT IT WOULD BE 2 SEPERATE PROGRAMS. So i asked to speak with a manager TWICE (John Wilkes) finally after 20 minutes he called me into the car lot to speak with him and Alex (he was smart to call me into the lot and not meet me in the waiting room, because everyone would've heard my concerns). I was so confused on why would they have me wait 2 hours to get a key cut. When I had a key already and what was important was to get the remote programmed... Where's the common sense? Where's the communication and the customer service value??? I brought the car in for a "basic procedure" WHY THE DIFFICULTY IN DELIVERING PROPER SERVICE? I got a lame apology from Alex, but from the "Customer service manager" JOHN WILKES nothing HE JUST STOOD THERE AND WATCHED ME... no solution, no explanation NOT A WORD. JOHN WILKES YOU ACTED IN A COWARDLY WAY !!! SHAME ON YOU AND ON MAZDA FOR GIVING YOU THIS POSITION! WHEN YOU CLEARLY DON'T CARE!!! P.S. NOT TO MENTION 3 WEEKS AGO i had my transmission changed mazda had my car for two weeks and ROB NEVER BOTHERED to call me I HAD to be the one calling him. I SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO GIVE THIS PLACE 2 SHOTS. NEVER AGAIN WILL I INVEST IN MAZDA!!! More
