Excessive and Unreasonable Repair Delay: My vehicle has been in the dealership’s possession for over 42 days, exceeding the Lemon Law standard of 20 cumulative repair days. The continued delays are unjustified. 2. Misrepresentation and Possible Fraud: The dealership falsely claimed that I had a loaner vehicle, which I never received. I fear my signature may have been forged on documents. 3. Pushy and Unethical Business Practices: The dealership demanded insurance payment before allowing me to inspect my vehicle, which raises concerns about transparency. 4. Failure to Properly Diagnose Issues: The dealership initially missed critical engine defects and only identified them later, causing significant delays. 5. Ongoing Mechanical Issues: My Mazda app continues to show critical errors, despite the dealership claiming the car is “almost ready.” Timeline of Events: • February 19, 2025: I brought my vehicle to Wayne Mazda for routine recall repairs. On the same day, the dealership informed me that my car had rodent damage. • February 27, 2025: My insurance company approved all repairs for the rodent damage. • March 2025: The dealership later contacted me, stating that additional engine malfunctions were discovered that were initially missed. These issues, however, were determined to be manufacturer defects and covered under my vehicle’s warranty. • Estimated Repair Completion: The dealership informed me that my vehicle would not be ready until June or July, an unreasonable timeframe for repairs. • March 31, 2025: I received a call stating that my vehicle was “almost” ready, and they demanded insurance payment for the rodent-related repairs. I requested to see my vehicle before making any payment, but they became pushy and aggressive regarding the payment. • Loaner Car Misrepresentation: The dealership also falsely stated that I had been provided a loaner vehicle, which I never received. This raises concerns about potential fraudulent activity, including a possible forged signature on documents. • Mazda App Alerts: As of March 31, 2025, at 7:00 PM, my Mazda app still displays critical alerts and errors, which contradicts the dealership’s claim that my vehicle is nearly ready for pickup. I love Ash and have leased 4 cars from him - he’s the best. I bought a tire protection pkage though and when I needed to use it I got the runaround from a woman in Service and was told she had no idea if best. I bought a tire protection pkage though and when I needed to use it I got the runaround from a woman in Service and was told she had no idea if my tire was covered and it would be a month to replace it…and she didn’t have a very nice attitude either. I happily kept buying from Wayne even though it’s 50 mins from where I live and they have always been excellent before but this is very discouraging. Mazda Morristown has been great and gave me an appt the next business day. I have had to wait and the Portfolio tire package made them jump through hoops but I’m thankful they were willing to jump and very happy with Greg in Service. More
I went to Wayne Mazda, located at 1244 Rte 202, 1244 NJ-23, Wayne, NJ 07470, for an appointment, which had been scheduled online, for complimentary oil change for my 2023 Mazda CX-5, on 02/03/2024 (they NJ-23, Wayne, NJ 07470, for an appointment, which had been scheduled online, for complimentary oil change for my 2023 Mazda CX-5, on 02/03/2024 (they included free oil changes for life with new vehicle that i had purchased from them) and got charged $609.83. I had purchased the 2023 Mazda CX-5 purchased on 09/27/2022 (only 16 months and 6 days old) and it had with 12,349 miles on it at the time I went for the complimentary oil change appointment. They made me sign a work order even before they inspected the CX-5 and because I didn't have my reading glasses, I could not read the work order, so I asked the service advisor what I was signing for and he said it was "no charge" because it was only for complimentary oil change, so I trusted him and signed the work order, but when i went to pick up the vehicle when it was ready, I had to pay $609.83 including tax which included replacing cabin air filter, engine air filter, fuel injection which is also completely unnecessary for 16 month old CX-5 and with 12,349 miles. Why would they perform any services prematurely if the vehicle is not due for those services at this mileage and within 16 months of buying brand new vehicle and without first performing a vehicle inspection to determine what services are necessary? Also, they charged almost double the amount for these 3 services for which i have a quote from another nearby Mazda dealership for a 2018 Mazda Cx-5 that we also own. I also intend to dispute the charge with the credit card company. Can you please assist us in this matter? More

On 11-13-23, I had a service appointment for oil change under life program, and the SAFETY RECALL 6023G-NHTSA Campaign Number 23V-487. My appointment was schedule for 9:30AM, and I also requested to have under life program, and the SAFETY RECALL 6023G-NHTSA Campaign Number 23V-487. My appointment was schedule for 9:30AM, and I also requested to have my tires rotate. After waiting 3.5 hours around lunch time, I was approached by RODGER MOREL, notified me was an issued fixing the recall and was offered a loaner car. By the end of the day I got a call that my Mazda was ready and serviced. To my surprise when I received the invoice and paying my bill I noticed my tires were never rotated because was not mentioned in the invoice, also my recall was never completed. I questioned Mr. Morel and he stated the recall was never completed because the technician was not able to complete additional parts were required. He also persuade to guarantee me the tires were rotade and hand wrote and signed the invoice himself. Two weeks later I have not received a phone call to have my recall service to be complete, but I got an email a week ago stating my tires are overdue to be rotated. So this confirms that my tires were never rotated. I have been service my Mazda at Wayne Dealership for the last five years, but I lost trust in the service department at this location. More
