I am coming off lease on a Mazda CX9. I was interested in the Sonata. My lease was with Wayne Mazda but I wasn't interested in another Mazda. Since both dealerships are the same owner someone from Mazda in the Sonata. My lease was with Wayne Mazda but I wasn't interested in another Mazda. Since both dealerships are the same owner someone from Mazda sent me to the Hyundai dealer and told me I could pull ahead on my lease getting out 2 months early. My Mazda is slightly over mileage so I am trying to avoid turning in my lease due to the charges. The salesman made a deal with me to buy my Mazda if I leased the Sonata. When I came in to pick up my Sonata they dicked around for over an hour before telling me that they weren't going to buy my Mazda because there was less than 120 days left in my lease. They knew how long was left in my lease when I was there the first time and made the deal. They were just hoping that I would be so excited about the new Sonata that I would cave in and lease it anyway. The Sales Manager was a complete a-hole. Thought who the heck he was - he was too busy telling us what a great guy he was rather than trying to difuse a bad situation. I will instead be buying my Mazda for the residual value whioh is a few thousand dollars less than the actual trade in value. As soon as I sign the papers I am going to drive to another dealer and sell it to them for exactly what I paid for it so that I can cut an even better deal. I have since called Wayne Mazda two times hoping to speak to someone about buying my lease but no one is calling me back. Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. More

ON WED MAY 25 I CONTACTED THE INTERNET DEPT TO CHECK STOCK ON A 2011 SONATA LIMITED WITH A COLOR I WANTED I WAS TOLD IT WAS IN STOCK THE PLAN WAS TO DRIVE TO THE DEALERSHIP ON THURSDAY AM . ON WED. PROBLEM NUMBER 1 AFTER A HOUR AND FIFTEEN MIN. DRIVE AFTER WALKING BACK AND FORTH 4 OR 5 TIMES NAZIK SAID THEY FOUND A LIMTED IN ANOTHER COLOR WITH NO NAV. OK FINE. Went in with a "guaranteed" price from American Express for a Tuscon they had on the lot. It had everything I wanted except remote start, and that option is dealer installable. Saleswoman was either dense or a fraud; she kept trying to quote prices other than the Amex price. Finally went to talk with sales manager for five minutes and came back with a price for the base vehicle that was consistent with the guarantee. When I asked about the remote start, she added $450 to the price. The MSRP for that feature is $350, while the Amex guaranteed price is $316. I walked out. For a $134 rip-off attempt, they lost a $28K+ sale. More

I was just looking but ended up buying. I went there to look at used Sonatas and bought a new one. Great terms. I think I got a good deal. I just rechecked Consumer Reports and can confirm I got a very good deal. I also must argue CR's statement about road noise. So far, not so and my ride home was 100% highway. Great trade-in on my 1999 Infiniti. Fernando was gracious and accommodating. Except for giving me the car for free, what more could I ask of a car dealership? More
I intially wasn't looking for a new car but the pressure of my family to get new wheels under me tickled my intrest. I owned a Hyundai Elantra and after looking at the new Elantra I changed my mind. I walked into Wayne Hyundai and was immediatley greeted by the sales person Hector. We sat down and we discussed my ultimate goal. I expressed to him that I was not buying today. However, after the test drive I changed my mind. We worked out the final numbers, he gave me fair value for my trade and a great deal on his car. Two hours later I drove home with my new 2011 Elantra. The atmosphere of the dealer was very calm and relaxing. No pressure and pure friendliness. Over all, GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Thanks Wayne Hyundai!! I walked in there on a Saturday (last Saturday of March) and stood around for 2 minutes and the guy who was free to help me was sleeping! I had called earlier to arrange a test drive and the woman was very pleasant and never told me I had to be willing to buy a car in order to test drive. I spoke to John for several minutes about my interests in either the Elantra or Sonata, and then he asked me about whether I was planning to buy that day. I gave him the honest answer and he said he could only let me test drive one of the two cars for my research, so I picked the Elantra. He said he would "check" if he had any Elantra's available and he disappeared for at LEAST 10 minutes if not more. I could overhear him complaining to his buddies in the corner about how he did not want do the test drive since it was for research only and would be wasting his time. His supervisor came back and asked me bluntly if I was going to buy a car today or in the next three days, and I said no. And he said I needed to come back during the week or on a Saturday that was not at the end of the month, so I angrily got up and left. In the time he got up to complain with his buddies, he could have gone with me to test drive the car and come back and laid the foundation for a sale in the future. As it is now, I will not go back to this dealership again. I live 8 miles away and spent the 45 minutes round-trip driving to test drive a car and did not get to do that. I understand their point of view about end-of-the-month sales, but they went about telling me all the wrong way and they could have helped me in the time they were discussing the situation. The sales guy was SLEEPING when I came in so how busy could he have been?! At least he could have done something positive to help himself in the future, whereas now he has no chance! More
