I never had such a horrible experience or service as I had during my most recent service appointment. I live 15 miles north of the dealership and pass 2 other dealerships on my way to the dealership. Except for the cashier and valet, all the service personnel I interacted with were very disinterested in me and my warranty service needs. I made an appointment at least 3 days before the appointment date and told the service writer exactly what my warranty issues were. When I got there it was like I never even called. I had to leave my work vehicle overnight at the dealership so the engine issue could be diagnosed. They never offered me a loaner car and did not even try to determine what the motor issue was. I called the dealership at 11:00 on Monday morning to find out when I could pick up my car and was told that the service Dept. didn’t get to my car yet. I asked when it would be ready and was told that maybe they could get to my car the next day. Even then I was not offered a loaner car for overnight use even though this was warranty issue . Consequently I told them I was coming to get my car and taking it to another dealership. There was no attempt to offer a better solution so I had to get someone to drive me the 15 miles to the dealership to get my car. It is very evident that the new ownership doesn’t really care about their loyal customers. I told the cashier about the terrible customer service and she was sympathetic however no one even called to apologize for the awful service or try to make an attempt to address my concerns. I have spent a lot of money at the Wayne Akers dealership over the years and been very loyal. However it appears that loyal customers aren’t needed or appreciated so I will make sure that I spread that information to all my friends family and business associates so they don’t waste time at the NEW Wayne Akers. More
5/10/2020 I took my 2013 Expedition for warranty A/C repair, 2 days later same issue occurred. Returned to Wayne Akers who badly damaged both front and rear of vehicle while in shop. Bent rear frame and repair, 2 days later same issue occurred. Returned to Wayne Akers who badly damaged both front and rear of vehicle while in shop. Bent rear frame and hatch, destroyed front grill assy and bent other front parts. Bought newer replacement at an unfriendly price as I was leaving state 2 days later for extended time. Repair shop manager was straight ! More
