Great Service! Drop off courtesy vehicle was amazing! I'd give ZERO stars if I could! I'm extremely disappointed with the service that I have been receiving. On several occasions, work was not completed. Once they forgot to rotate my t I'm extremely disappointed with the service that I have been receiving. On several occasions, work was not completed. Once they forgot to rotate my tires, another time a new grab handle was installed without the screw cap covers. Luckily, I still had the old grab handle and had to return to have them installed. My most recent issue was with my power steering. I was leaking fluid and told that it was coming from the power steering sensor. They even escorted me to the back to show me while my vehicle was up on the racks. I agreed to perform the work for the repair. Well, my vehicle continued to leak fluid, so I returned. I was then told that it was recommended that I get new power steering pump. After this, something told me, get a second opinion. I contacted another mechanic and he found that on my high pressure power steering hose, he replaced "O" ring on the sensor that they didn't change. I paid for a new sensor and it was still the ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT!! He also replaced "O" ring seals on both ends of the high pressure power steering hose and the "O" ring seals on the return lines as well. While he was doing all the power steering work, he also noticed my coolant was HORRIBLE! This was interesting because they had also recently replaced my radiator. He drained all the old coolant which was some of the foulest smelling I have ever seen in my life! In addition, it was black in color, old, like they had just put some recycled crap from the shop floor back in it! He refilled my radiator with some new and correct grade coolant. He also changed my oil and replaced my oil filter AND pointed out that my oil filter hadn't been changed for a while, I've only brought my vehicle to Wayne Akers for SEVERAL of my last oil changes. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be returning to this location, and I will be contacting the General Manager and owner for compensation on work NOT PERFORMED!! More
I truly like this dealership. On this visit there was a mistake and the oil change that was suppose to happen on my daughter’s car didn’t happen. Unaware of this until my daughter mentioned it to me once we arrived back home. I called the service advisor Kristian and I was able to take the vehicle back to the dealership for the oil change and the advisor refused to allow me to pay for the oil change due to the inconvenience of running back and forth to the dealership. That says a lot!!!! The young man stepped up and took full responsibility for the let’s call it a mishap. With employees like that Wayne Akers should be proud and confident with future business. For those who see the negative with eating the cost of the oil change. I will say this, Wayne Akers will make this money back 10 times over on word of mouth……. More
