The worst experience I’ve every had. Dropped my truck off at 7:45 am and went back to pick it up at 5 pm and nothing was done to my truck. I left with my truck. The agent wanted to set up another appointment for me to get it fixed and I said why? I said call me when there is someone there to fix it and I’ll bring my truck over. Worse than Poor rating is what I give them. I had used them for 2 of 3 my Ford Flex vehicles for the past 3 years. No more. I brought 1 in for AC not working & engine coolant leak on Oct 31, 20 I had used them for 2 of 3 my Ford Flex vehicles for the past 3 years. No more. I brought 1 in for AC not working & engine coolant leak on Oct 31, 2022 2:30pm. My appointment was for Nov. 1 @ 8am. The following day at noon I get a call from Daniel Abrams that it will cost $199+tax for the diagnosis, I approved. I could not believe that the appointment was scheduled for 8am & they are only now 4 hours later calling and telling me about this diagnosis process that should have been set up at the start. The next day I called to get an update when car will be ready. I got a real run around with their phone system, which is an upgrade from last yr when they never answered the phones at all, Once I had to drive there to speak with my service advisor, Jim who was Great but no longer is working there. I talk to a different employee Daniella and she said she would call me back w/ the info. She left me a message to call her back without her leaving any info on my car & I found out she left work for the day 1 hour after we spoke. I made 26 calls to Akers from 9-2 o'clock. I then drove there & asked for my car and was given a bill of $ 472 for DIAGNOSTICS. I was in Shock and asked what for ? The cashier called a "MANAGER BEN" (not Ben Buchanan) who just read out loud the charges. I explained to him that 27 hours earlier the service advisor Daniel Abrams; who had only started work there 3 days before, had called me for an Approval that a diagnosis would be needed & cost $199+tax. Manager Ben shrugged his shoulders, put the bill down & walked away. The bill stated that : "customer was given estimate and repairs were declined" which was a lie. After 2 days of them having my car I NEVER RECEIVED ANY ESTIMATE for the actual repair cost. This was my 3rd Ford dealership in the area. In their DEFENSE, I did receive a call from an Aker’s manager 2 days latter offering me a credit of $ 240.61 + tax. I initially accepted thinking something is better than a total loss of $ 472. but after sleeping on it I felt it was a bribe for me to retract my review of their service. The next morning I sent them a text , thanking them for the offer but I’ve changed my mind and my feedback stands. The manager Ben at the time I picked up the car, had NO Customer Service Savy and they had no customers at that time that I could see. No one should be treated like this. I recognized this manager that was on site, has been there for at least 2 yrs. More
