Came in at 7:30, met with Erik. He brought me into his office, listened to what I needed. Two recalls, and a possible leak in the radiator. He called to let me know that the car was ready and that I didn't have a problem with the radiator. He told me about a possible problem with the battery terminals, which I asked him to fix. My service advisor called me to tell me since my brakes were new i To have squeaky brakes looked at on my 21 f 150 also any services due at 15000 mi. My service advisor called me to tell me since my brakes were new i needed to drive out the squeak. When i asked to speak to the mechanic she said she didnt have a mechanic on Saturdays. Only a quick lane tech. I asked her why she gave me an appointment for brake service if she didnt have a mechanic available. She replied that she had a mechanic to fix the problem if I was willing to pay for it but not if it was under warranty which it was. I would have to make another appointment if i wanted it covered. I know a little about auto repair since I have spent more than 30 yrs as. Cert. mechanic and 19 of those as Service manager for a major brand dealership. Your service advisor needs retraining or a position she is better suited too. Also my radio was set to the techs favorite hip hop station. Dont mind them listening but do me the courtesy of putting it back. More
