Waxahachie Autoplex

On Labor day, I visited Waxahachie Autoplex in hope of finding a vehicle for my stepson. While I was there I saw a vehicle that my wife and I loved and inquired about it on top of the vehicle my stepson l finding a vehicle for my stepson. While I was there I saw a vehicle that my wife and I loved and inquired about it on top of the vehicle my stepson liked. The salesman told me that he would cut me a deal and take my trade in with zero down if I purchased the vehicle my stepson wanted. My stepson ended up purchasing the vehicle and I was told to come in the following day to work on the deal he proposed for the vehicle I wanted. After being there an hour the salesman came back with a “proposed monthly payment” but then told me that they could not take my trade in. At this point HE recommended for me to report it stolen, wait for the money from my insurance, then dump my vehicle in a field somewhere. After another hour passed the sales manager at this site said they would take my trade in if I purchased a NEW vehicle at a much higher price. At this point I just walked out and went home. The following day I received a text from a general sales manager(not the one I had spoken to the day before) thanked me for stopping by the day before and asked if we could make a deal that day. I told him everything I was told and what I went through and he apologized and guaranteed his manager would call me to “make it right” and finalize a deal for the vehicle I wanted from the beginning. To this day, I have not had a follow up text or phone call that this particular “manger” had promised. Later that day, the sales manager I had dealt with at the dealership the day prior called me and his first words were that he had gotten the monthly payment for the NEW vehicle down to a specific amount. I told him it was a bit high and would think about it. When I reached out to him to agree on the amount he had told me, I was told he never mentioned that price in our text, (of course not, because I was told this over a phone call). I have not spoken to anyone or heard from anyone from this dealership since then. To summarize my experience with this dealership, I was told they would work out the deal for the vehicle I wanted the first day I stepped foot on the lot, which turned out to be a complete lie. The sales man recommended for me to do something which I think may very well be illegal. I was then offered a vehicle totally different from what I had mentioned I wanted at a much higher price in order to make a deal and pretty much I was being accused of lying about a number I was told they could do. So I don’t know if a complaint to the Better Buisness Bureau, Federal Trade Comission or simply posting about this shady and unethical dealership is the route I should go, but anyone considering this particular dealership for their next vehicle purchase should know how the operate! Worst service I've ever had from a Dealer and the Service Advisor just gets caught in multiple lies with his text msgs. Picked it up and took it back to the Dealer I bought it from. Can I give a zero rating. They took my order for a 392 Scat Pack Widebody Charger Plum Crazy color in Sept 2022. Car was actually ordered in October per my salesman with a $ They took my order for a 392 Scat Pack Widebody Charger Plum Crazy color in Sept 2022. Car was actually ordered in October per my salesman with a $10,000 over asking agreed upon. Checked back each month and everything was just fine with the order. Then in February 2023 they mysteriously could not find my order. At that time I spoke to the manager there and he said so sorry but at that point there was nothing they could do because they could not order anymore. So then I went to another dealer and found the same car but not in the color I had ordered and really wanted. Then on Aug 28th they suddenly sent me a picture of the car I had originally ordered via text asking me I was still interested in taking the car I built and ordered. What kind of shaddy stuff is that. My true belief is that in Feb they had a buddy of someone higher up that wanted that car and just told me that they lost the order. Now it has come in and that person no longer wanted it so they come back to me. I think they should be charged with fraud. I am currently looking to see if I kept all my information from all those months so I can sue them for fraud. More

Don’t trust all the 5 star reviews. I would give it zero or negative stars if possible. I recently moved here and thought I could switch dealers from Arlington. After almost $2k and less than 30 miles as an extra vehicle, the engine came on for the THIRD time! We negotiated the second visit because we literally turned it around after one drive back to service center. The third time they spewed the same lines basically blaming us like they did their job correctly. Same codes every single time after 2 k parts! My car won’t go to waxahachie dodge nor will I ever recommend or buy a dodge again especially after this place. My car is in Arlington with service I can depend on not blowing smoke up my rear and stealing more money! More
