Well…. . I had only had my Ford Edge for 2 1/2 months when the air conditioner stopped working. I scheduled an appt and took my vehicle in. Cindy Timmons fir . I had only had my Ford Edge for 2 1/2 months when the air conditioner stopped working. I scheduled an appt and took my vehicle in. Cindy Timmons first called me to state that I would have to pay $100 minimum. I said shouldn’t the Dealership have to fix it for free since I only had by Edge for a fee months. She said she would check. I also purchased every extended warranty, so I assumed my air conditioner would be covered. Cindy called me later to let me know they changed the pigtail, but that didn’t fix it. They couldn’t fix it that day so it was scheduled for the following week. The following week Cindy called yelling at me that rodents were eating my wires. She said they chewed up the pigtail that had just been changed the week before. She was so accusatory. She also said none of the warranty's cover rodents and I would have to pay $350. I told her my husband would be calling. Later in the day she sent me photos he requested and she stated that I needed to park somewhere else…. She didn’t have to be so nasty. Sigh… I just bought my car 2020 Edge a few months ago. I had my 2011 Edge for over 7 years and didn’t have any problems with it. If this is the way I am going to be treated every time I take my car in for service, I will not be a happy camper. I think Cindy Timmons needs to take a course on how to treat customers properly. The first would be not to yell at them. After having my 2014 f-150 towed in for fear of further damage . I was informed it was the timing belt . Before proceeding with any of the costly work . I wanted to ensure in fact the truck was worth it . damage . I was informed it was the timing belt . Before proceeding with any of the costly work . I wanted to ensure in fact the truck was worth it . Seeing how it has 316,000 miles . The engine before this has never given me any signs of loss in power or failure . After $3,300.00 later . I was informed that my engine was “ no good “ . A simple compression test would had verififed that for the mechanic . Simple answer is 0 out of 5 wasn’t an option . More
There should be available oil change appointments after 2pm for people that work! It’s inconvenient to have to drop my vehicle off a day prior to and find another vehicle so I can get to work all for an oi 2pm for people that work!
