Felt violated Worst almost car buying experience of my life. I have bought and sold 15 cars over the years from other dealers and this was the worst. The vehicle Worst almost car buying experience of my life. I have bought and sold 15 cars over the years from other dealers and this was the worst. The vehicle I was planning on purchasing was blocked in and very difficult to manuver from where it was parked I had to fold in the side mirrors on both sides to avoid hitting the other vehicles. The test drive was very short on some very windy back roads, not very useful for me since I drive a lot of highway. I reluctantyly had them appraise my truck and there appraisal value was $6000 less than trade in value on NADA, KBB, and black book. I asked to speak with sales manger as to why my truck was appraised so low. I had to wait 25 min with the confused salesman, finally he came and told me thats what his wholesaler told him and had no reasoning as to why so low. His attitude became very aggressive as I asked for a better answer as to what was wrong that appraisal so low. Needless to say I did not trade or purchase from them, nor will I ever. More

My husband and I did not end up buying the car here due to the attitude & rudeness of the general manager. When we were explaining the issue we came across the general manager interrupted my husband and basically said go buy somewhere else. He acted as if he was a know it all and did not take our opinion into account. Even though we are from the Washington area I would gladly drive somewhere else to be treated fairly. More
f250 diesel Paul at Washington Ford listened to what I wanted and found it instead of trying to sell me something from the lot that kind of matched. *** Great Dealership & Customer Service *** I had recently purchased a car at Washington Ford and cannot express how happy I am with the whole experience! I was greeted by a friendly salesman I had recently purchased a car at Washington Ford and cannot express how happy I am with the whole experience! I was greeted by a friendly salesman and he was not pushy at all. I got all of my questions answered and wound up buying a car that I love. I've been to many dealerships before and all they want to do is push new cars on you when you really aren't interested in a new one. Washington Ford is not pushy at all, they make the car buying experience easy with no stress! Kudos to management and all staff. More
I had recently purchased a 2012 mustang as this dealership and the experience was horrible. The sales associate i had for this experience would not even come down on the sticker price one dollar bu dealership and the experience was horrible. The sales associate i had for this experience would not even come down on the sticker price one dollar but this was something that i had wanted so i had paid the price for it. So after all the paper work is signed i was told ill get my information in the mail regarding getting my information to gets plates. After a few weeks i called them and they told me they did not know where it was at the moment and i had to go and purchase another set of temporary plates. I had waited close to the end of that second month till i had received they information i had needed to go get plates. Also the paint ford had used on this car seems to already to fading and it is all spider webbed with this experience i have had and over the past 10 years of buying 5 fords they will never get another cent from me. I don't see how this dealership is still in business. I felt uncomfortable with this dealership as soon as I got on the lot. No one greeted us for about 15 minutes and when we asked to see the inside of a felt uncomfortable with this dealership as soon as I got on the lot. No one greeted us for about 15 minutes and when we asked to see the inside of a particular car, we waited another 10 minutes for them to return with the key. This dealerships salesman are not friendly at all, their rude and they will cheat you if you don't know any better and the manager is not any better. This was the worst experience I have ever had when purchasing a car. I would never recommend them to my worst enemy. No one should ever be treated this way. STAY AWAY FROM WASHINGTON FORD IN WASHINGTON, PA. More
This was the worst dealership experience I have ever had in my life. They do not care about the customer, and they obviously have no motivation to sale a car. I went to the dealership and walked around the in my life. They do not care about the customer, and they obviously have no motivation to sale a car. I went to the dealership and walked around the lot for around 20 minutes. No one came out to ask if I needed anything and no one seemed interested in selling a car. (They all seemed quite content sitting by the door entrance and smoking cigarettes). Finally I went inside and asked for help. I was looking at a new Raptor, and made it clear that I would like to drive it, work on a price and then if all went well buy it. First thing out of their mouth is no one drives the cars. After fighting with them that was changed and they allowed me a short 2 mile test drive. It was like pulling teeth to get to this point. After the test drive it was then time to talk price, I was told this is the price and this is what it is staying at. Then we talk trade. I was made an on the spot trade offer, which was quite a bit higher than the car was worth. I figured they were working the numbers considering the invoice is $5000 less than sticker price on the truck. I was offered $7500 on trade of my Mustang (reality should be in the neighborhood of $4000 on trade). So that works out to $4k in trade and $3500 off the price of the truck. I was decently impressed by that. We negotiated some more. I tried to get an additional 1500 out of it. At that point the salesman (Bruno) went to talk to the GM to get a price he said that was too much for him to approve. Bruno then returned from the meeting... He came back with a price of $2500 more than we had already agreed on ($5000 of sticker for the trade). I at this point began to feel that I was cheated and I asked to talk to the manager. He then came over, did not say his name and then began to talk down to me. I was told too bad this is the new price and you will not get what we said. I was told I don't have a piece of paper anywhere saying that I ever received that price and that it is my word against the salesman. (The sales order was on the computer screen at the time). The GM said this is the new price, take it or leave it. I have never seen anything like this before in my life, not have I had an experience like this. I will never be returning to this family of dealerships and I strongly urge you to do the same. This kind of behavior is simply inexplicable and should not be shown to a customer or anyone for that matter. More
I can not recommend this dealer. They lie and do not honor their word. My transmission in my 2003 Ford Taurus went. My husband and I decided it wasn't worth putting a new one in and we couldn't afford t honor their word. My transmission in my 2003 Ford Taurus went. My husband and I decided it wasn't worth putting a new one in and we couldn't afford the down time with no vehicle so we ended up at Washington Ford. We were specifically in the market for a used vehicle. We were quick narrowing down our options. I found a 2011 Ford Explorer BASE front wheel drive with 13,000 miles on it. I knew without a shadow of doubt I would have financing through my credit union but it was after hours. I hesitantly applied through Ford and got accepted with a higher interest rate. The dealership accepted my check to "hold" the vehicle until morning when I could do the paperwork at the credit union. On my home I got a call from the dealer saying they wouldn't hold the vehicle and to come back and get my check. I went back financed the vehicle through Ford and then refinanced it a few days later at the Cu once the owners card came in. 9% through Ford, 3.99 @ the credit union. But that isn't the main complaint. My Ford Taurus (front wheel drive) went great in the snow. The first snow we had the Explorer was awful. We called the dealer and were told "bring it back and we will put you in something that will make you happy and feel safe". In the meantime I did research and found out the block is now aluminum and the front end doesn't have the weight and I learned about the traction control (when and how to use it)the dealer was NO help. There is an intermittent squealing coming from the left rear and the mechanics tried to tell me it was a pebble. I've changed enough brakes myself to know better. We took the Explorer back in. The dealer's idea of taking it back was giving me nearly $5,000 less then what I paid and sticking me in something that was $5,000 more then what I paid. In the meantime I got a letter from the PA Dept of Revenue stating that I did not pay enough sales tax because the price I paid was below fair market value and I needed to pay an additional $214.00. When we showed the dealer the letter he said the state wasn't in the business of selling cars and didn't know what the fair market value was so me asking for fair market value back wasn't going to happen. This was by fair my worst experience ever buying a car. I tried to go to another Ford dealer, Woltz & Wind to trade it in and to find out they are sister companies and actually talked between themselves about us and kept lowering the price they were willing to take the vehicle back for. Talk about sneaky underhanded business practice. This reflects poorly on Ford but I still love their vehicles. I hope this helps people stay away from these dealerships so they don't experience what we did. We have always been huge Ford fans. Even driving from PA to MI for a truck my husband wanted a few years back and we will be looking at trading it in and my 15 year old son will be driving soon. it's apparent we will have to go out of state again because these dealerships that are closer to home aren't worthy of anyone's business.
