No return call We bought our 2017 Explorer brand new last March. We never had any issues with getting our cars serviced at Walt Sweeney and thought we were getting g We bought our 2017 Explorer brand new last March. We never had any issues with getting our cars serviced at Walt Sweeney and thought we were getting great customer service but I am having issues now. The explorer was just at the shop a few weeks ago for routine service and they found i needed an air filter, aside from the oil change. Thought that was odd considering the age and miles on the car but agreed and had them replace it. I have been stranded, with my children, and relied on roadside assistance to get me back on the road since this. My battery is horribly corroded- yet they didn’t see this during my maintenance service but caught an air filter needing replaced... I spoke with Theresa in service who was going to have the service manager call me and still have not gotten a call back. I still am unable to get in contact with anyone. Now I have a $50,000 car with 20k miles that I cannot start. No way should this be happening and although it is a simple fix, I refuse to eat the price of a battery when Walt Sweeney should clearly back up their new vehicles they sell. More
Poor customer service We bought a 2013 Ford Taurus from Walt Sweeney Ford 3 years ago. We purchased the warranty with the car as well. 3 days after our warranty expired, We bought a 2013 Ford Taurus from Walt Sweeney Ford 3 years ago. We purchased the warranty with the car as well. 3 days after our warranty expired, the car needed a major repair- the water pump needs to be replaced.. We were told by Walt Sweeney Ford that our warranty expired 3 days ago, and they were not willing to do anything to help us. We went back a couple of days later and spoke to the Parts and Service Director who told us to send him an estimate from our mechanic, and he would send our information on to Ford and see if he could get them to cover at least part of the repairs. He called the next afternoon after our mechanic had faxed over an estimate saying that he had submitted the information but Ford wasn't willing to cover any of the repair. My husband then called Ford's customer service number and after being transferred several times was told that there was no record of the Parts and Service Director ever submitting ANY information about our car, despite him having told my husband that he had. They also basically said sorry about your luck. We will never buy another Ford and will tell everyone we know that Walt Sweeney Ford did not do well dealing with us as customers. More
Autobody side was super In the past I have had many issues with the mechanical side of Walt Sweeney Ford with both my 1996 truck and my 2013 car so I just bought an alternato In the past I have had many issues with the mechanical side of Walt Sweeney Ford with both my 1996 truck and my 2013 car so I just bought an alternator from them and had it put on somewhere else but when I took the core back I thought while I am here I might as well have the auto body repair guys give me a price on replacing the rear side door. What a pleasant surprise? Dustin was as nice as you get and all the office were happy friendly people ready to help. The price was actually lower than the USED car lots out in Miamitown and as it was Ford they hooked up the windows, power locks and speakers so I could not be happier. Alvin did a great job on the courtesy car of taking me home and coming back to get me all in one day. Great service, great price equals return customer. Thanks Dustin, Alvin and beautiful ladies. By the way parts guys were super too. Did not want to forget you Bobby. Thanks! More
Dont buy or have your car serviced there Mom bought brand new car there in 2012 it currently has 16000 miles on it has been back there four times for same issues since it had 4000 miles on it Mom bought brand new car there in 2012 it currently has 16000 miles on it has been back there four times for same issues since it had 4000 miles on it still making noise a d tbey say its normal and within ford specs . both the service guys went for a ride with me and said they woyld not be happy if it was there car i asked them to but it on the rack do check and see if something sas rubbing they refused and said the car needs a break in peroid. However it did not make noise with zero miles on it so why should it now . stay clear of walt sweeny ford More

Same for the 2nd car had to take it else where to get the real problem fixed right. They do quick fixes and never really fix the problem so you come back and keep spending money. Service has no clue on what they are talking about or doing! Lyndsee only nice person but his hands are tied to actually help and get things done. You would think if you bought 2 cars and they did the work they would fix till it was right. Nope More

They acted like it was a funny joke and were rude. I want it fixed! Said when it starts not being cold to bring it back. I haven't made the first payment. On it yet. Customer. Service my butt. They could care less!!! More
I highly recommend Wlat Sweeny Ford. I have been taking my Volvo XC90 there for over 5 years and they have not only met, but exceeded expectations EVERY time. Barry Burris is very nice, customer friendly and great at his job. Ford is very lucky to have Barry as an employee. I have called on Barry for my car and my son and daughter car also.
