I would not recommend Walser Toyota Bloomington to anyone. They sold me a used 2008 Toyota Sienna that literally needed its engine replaced, even though they showed me a totally clean bill of health anyone. They sold me a used 2008 Toyota Sienna that literally needed its engine replaced, even though they showed me a totally clean bill of health on the vehicle at the time of sale. I took the car to a third-party mechanic right after buying to do a bumper to bumper inspection (my due diligence on the car), and the mechanic reported a major mechanical problem. I took it back to Walser Toyota Bloomington and the car salesman insinuated that the mechanic was just trying to make money off of me. After Walser inspected the car, they realized the engine needed to be replaced and quoted me $5,000 in repairs. I told them I wanted to return the car for a full refund. It gets worse. Even though I brought the car back the same day, they still cashed my check (I paid cash for the car) and then told me I couldn't get a refund for 7-10 business days. No check came after 10 business days. I made over a half dozen calls to get my money back. One guy even promised me that he'd have a check ready for me if I stopped in the store on the 13th business day, but there was no check when I arrived. I finally got my money back 3 weeks after they cashed my check. Walser Toyota Bloomington is a disaster. The next week I went down the road to Bloomington Acura Subaru and had a great experience. Unlike Walser, the Bloomington Acura Subaru staff were experienced and not pushy for price, warranties, etc. And, they sold me a good car--one that a third-party mechanic verified. More
Spike was very informative and knowledgable. Took us on test drives in the cars we expressed an interest in, pointing out pros and cons of each. Friendly, funny, no pressure. Walking through the door I was greeted by Spike. What a humble down to earth guy. First impressions mean a lot and he set the bar high right from the start. On a Saturday afternoon in early November the dealership was busy but not crazy. I chose Walser because a friend had purchased her vehicle there and had a good experience. No haggling and no bait and swit was busy but not crazy. I chose Walser because a friend had purchased her vehicle there and had a good experience. No haggling and no bait and switch tactics. Sales associate Spike Spicher approached us and asked if we needed anything. I told him my long list of wants and needs and we test drove a couple cars that fit the bill. I found just the right one and he walked me through the buying process. It was a long process but he kept us engaged with stories of his family and was quite personable. He called a couple days later to see if I was happy with my purchase and to follow through on a couple after market items I had purchased. Overall a very good experience. Go see Spike! More

I just want the best price without having to deal with making offers. Spike took the time to help me get to know my new car which is quite a bit different than the cars I have driven being its a Prius and works differently. I was offered water and my little girl was given hot cocoa and I am sorry I was not offered any food from a cooler as some people were but it is a holiday and we all wanted to get home. More

My husband and I purchased our last used Toyota Camry in 2011 from Walser Toyota and Bob ("Spike") had helped us with that purchase as well. When my husband died and our car was totaled, Spike was the first 2011 from Walser Toyota and Bob ("Spike") had helped us with that purchase as well. When my husband died and our car was totaled, Spike was the first person I thought of to look for a replacement vehicle. Walser has a great selection of cars to choose from and the website was very helpful in choosing the top cars I wanted to look at. Spike did a great job of explaining everything to me and helping me maneuver through the decisions on purchase of the warranty and other add ons that I decided to purchase for the 2011 Toyota Camry. Spike's friendliness and caring personality made the whole purchase experience very pleasant. Thank you, Spike! More
Bought my 2014 Scion Xd from this dealer and serviced my 2005 Xa in their shop. Customer parking was limited in the small lot by the door. this combined with the shop entrance being so close made for a some 2005 Xa in their shop. Customer parking was limited in the small lot by the door. this combined with the shop entrance being so close made for a some difficulty. Once inside things are a lot better. There is ample seating and TVs if you need to need to wait. "kids room" was separated from main waiting room with a glass wall so parents can easily keep an eye on their kids. Sales area is made up of "open cubes" making it a little tight if a couple want to talk to a sales person. Bob "Spike" Spicher was our salesman. This guy is quite a character, in a good way, and did a wonderful job making the sale while exchanging verbal jabs with his cube mate. With Pure Pricing there was no negotiation, Service in the shop was great and what you should expect when servicing your auto at the dealer. Shuttle service was a nice extra. Driver, Jeff I think, was talkative and courteous. If you buy from this dealer, meet Spike and you're feeling hungry he's the kind of salesman who will share a cheese stick with you. Cheers Spike More
