Roby was helpful. He showed us the car we had requested, gave us information, and also pulled up another Hybrid that was not originally one we were considering. I brought my '16 WRX in to address a few things, namely the 60k service interval and issues with A/C. I generally knew going in either my freon leaked or the compressor bearings were shot and I just needed the 60k service interval and issues with A/C. I generally knew going in either my freon leaked or the compressor bearings were shot and I just needed to know why. I frankly do not want to pay the price I'm paying monthly and a 2k repair for a car that is 5 years old and has only 60k miles. So with that being said I came in with the intention to learn what needed to be fixed and to probably sell my WRX that I love. Service got me in quickly, I explained the situation to the service manager/writer what I knew of the issues and to let me know what the issue was with the A/C before we did anything else. Came back about a hour later with a video showing the issues which was awesome. It was confirmed there was not only a leak, but the compressor was failing due to low freon. I told them I needed to speak with a sales manager about potentially selling my car before I did anything with repairs. I spoke with the sales manager, we talked about what my history with the car has been, which has been dreadful, and what I thought it was worth, and what I expected to be paid. They came back with a reasonable value, something I would make a little money on. I had to think though, my WRX is pretty uncommon and I do love it. Went to tell service that I could do the 60k front/rear differential fluid change but I am going to sell it after that. The manager explained they discussed it and would be comping me the A/C repair as long as I kept the car. I didn't understand, had them explain multiple times and certainly didn't expect this treatment. I gladly agreed and went to wait for it to be finished. Eventually they decided I was waiting around too long and tossed me some keys and said they would call me when it was done. I'm so grateful, things like this do not happen to me. I get to keep my car, and they have forever earned a customer. Thank you. I got my car back today and it works great. It also happens to be my birthday so what a nice present. More
