At least I ended up with my car. We scheduled an appointment ahead of time for an oil change for Saturday 1/ 19 at 10:15 am. Upon arrival we were told my car would be out by 11:30. With two kids and an appointment scheduled we were somewhat disappointed that that was the time it would take for a simple oil change but beings that my entire maintenance history upon ownership of this car was with Polar I waited. 30 mins later Jeff came and told us my car needed a new drain plug and that we had to pay $24 for it because he wasn’t going to put it back on my car because it was “starting” to lose threading. Normally I’d be okay replacing a needed part if the condition was in dire need of doing so, but to have a service advisor come and tell me I had to pay for a part without any consultation I found to be rude and unprofessional after the amount of money we’ve spent at this specific location under their guidance before. Scott came back about 10 minutes later stating that my car was ready to go, and to checkout. After running my debit card (not paying for the drain plug) the service manager, Scott attempted to pass keys over the counter to me, that were not mine. Come to find out, they performed an oil change on a car that was not mine, and my car was now having an unnecessary engine scan instead because someone swapped the keys and paperwork after pulling two Cruzes into the garage. Once this was figured out Scott was more than apologetic which we appreciated, but all the same, what if the other Cruze had been in for more serious maintenance work? Would my husband and I had to have sat there with our toddler and newborn all day? It’s one thing to be comped for our oil change and next one but it’s another to not take into serious consideration what could have happened had my car been pulled apart unnecessarily. I was highly disappointed in this mix up. More
New system not very good. Things have changed for the worse. It used to feel like a personable experience, now it feels very impersonal. The online system does not work. No longer can I pick my service time but someone is supposed to contact you. After waiting 24 hours no one had called so I called directly. This went to a call center and they would not let me talk with my service guy. I finally drove over and they took care of the car. The one positive in this new system was Jeff Hetrick my service guy. I sure hope this new system gets improved. More
Oil change and estimate on getting my outside mirror fixed. I arrived about 5 minutes early to my appointment. I was told I didn’t have an appointment. According to the man who was helping me, the appointments were not always showing up on the data base. The man who checked my mirror out told me it would cost about 750 dollars to repair. I was hoping I could get somewhat of a deal on the work. I feel uneasy about the whole experience of buying a new vehicle from Walser. I do like the Equinox though. More

Don’t bother making an oil change appt. I had an appointment for an oil change at 9:00. I was 6 minutes late and I pulled in the service garage immediately behind a man in a trailblazer (I a I had an appointment for an oil change at 9:00. I was 6 minutes late and I pulled in the service garage immediately behind a man in a trailblazer (I am a woman.) Even though I entered the office before the man in the trailblazer he was greeted and checked in. He stated he did not have an appt, but that he wanted an oil change. He was told it would be an hour and s half wait. The man left to sit in the waiting room. I was ignored (not even checked in or greeted) for another 5 minutes after the woman left who checked in the man and the man behind the computer talked on the phone. Finally I was checked in and told it would be an hour and a half wait. So I asked “So, it doesn’t matter if I have an appointment or not - the wait is the same?” He said “We’re backed up today.” After waiting in the waiting room for 35 minutes the man with no appointment was told his car was done and ready to go. I waited for another hour for my oil change - an hour and 35 minutes. More
