Very disappointed. Made a service appointment because there’s an oil-like smell any time I drive my car. I was also due for an oil change and asked that this service be done also. The service person commented that he also could smell my car when I pulled into the service garage. I specifically told him there was no active leak but the smell is obviously there. I was told they would look at it and do an oil change. I also asked for a tire rotation as my oil change and rotation are always done at the same time. I did apologize that I forgot to list that on my description for the appointment. But he assured me that wouldn’t be a problem to do as well. About an hour later he came to get me and told me they were all done. I thought it was quick and the waiting area was nice so I was initially happy to be done so soon as I drove across the cities from work for this appointment and live an hour south of the cities. But then I was told they looked for a leak but couldn’t find one so if the smell kept happening I could bring it back for diagnostics. This was the whole reason I brought the car to this dealership for service! I have a Walser extended warranty. I was then also told that the tread on my tires looked fine so a tire rotation wasn’t done. But they’re supposed to be rotated every 5,000 miles! So I asked for 3 services to be done and got one, and a service that I could have easily gotten somewhere else much closer to me. Very disappointed with this overall experience and lack of work. Comes off as very lazy. I certainly will not be returning for any type of maintenance/service that falls outside of my warranty due to this experience. More
