A I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee (High Altitude) just over two months ago from the Coon Rapids dealership which is a bit of a drive from my home. After having had the steering wheel replaced due to poor stitching around the wheel at the Coon Rapids dealership, I noticed that the heating component on the wheel was seemingly not working. I decided that rather than driving 30 miles one way to Coon Rapids, I'd simply take it to Hopkins which is about a mile from my home. I have never made such an unwise decision. I brought my Jeep in for service to have the heating element diagnosed and replaced. After having my vehicle for 30 hours, I checked in. I was told that they had just moments ago gotten a tech into the vehicle to assess the problem. I inquired why it took 30 hours to simply turn the vehicle on and then subsequently turn on the heated steering wheel to test it. I was told that they needed a skilled tech to test it. Let's be honest, a 5-year old with functional nerve endings could have tested it. Well, 3 days later, I got my Jeep back. The heating component still didn't seem to get above an ambient breath of warmth, however, this being the 3rd wheel on my BRAND NEW JEEP, I am tired of fighting that battle. However, now the buttons on the wheel were sticking and cycling through the in-dash menu. I requested to speak with a manager and was put in front of the COO of Walser. He assisted me. Today (11/13/19), I brought my Jeep back to have the wheel replaced, once again. The buttons work, the heat is no different and when I received the invoice for the repair, the service tech commented in the cause for repair: "Because I was told to." If my previous experience with this dealership hadn't been so foul, I would have just laughed this off. Unfortunately, this is the climate of their customer service. I took an image of the invoice and sent it to the COO who had been helping me and he responded and said 'Thanks for sharing.' If there were an option to add attachments, I'd post it here for everyone to see. I'm frankly not certain I really expected anything to result from my sharing, but it just seals my estimation that I would have been better off taking my Jeep to a veterinarian for diagnostics and repair than I was coming to Hopkins Walser. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! Go to Coon Rapids Jeep, they truly treated me like a king and I will go back there from now on, regardless of the distance. More
Horrible Customer Service/I'm Still Waiting for a Call Back Wednesday, August 7, 2019, 2:17 PM is when my correspondence started with Walser Jeep in Hopkins, MN. I have emailed and sent text messages to my ser Wednesday, August 7, 2019, 2:17 PM is when my correspondence started with Walser Jeep in Hopkins, MN. I have emailed and sent text messages to my service advisor and the general manager, I know they're working forms of communication because I received responses from both of them...only ONCE. I reached out to them because of repairs that were partially completed and attempted repairs like my Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Brake Mitigation that deactivates for invalid reasons were never fixed. The ACC and Brake Mitigation falsely activating was never investigated fully because there were no codes generated. I was told by the service manager to "bring it in the next time it happens" this makes no sense for obvious reasons. Today is September 11, 2019, the day I suggested, at the request of my service advisor, during one of our correspondence was a month ago! He told me to work with him directly instead of using the reservation system to make the appointment. My appointment was never confirmed and as I type this, I still have NOT heard back from anyone. Horrible Customer Service After Purchase of your Vehicle I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealer in February. Process took over four hours. Since then I have called the service department twice. Once because I thought there was something off with my suspension 2.5 weeks after purchase but also noted when speaking to the technician that this was my first SUV and wasn't sure if it was the difference between driving a sedan. They stated I would have to pay around $75/100 to start looking in to what the problem would be. Also stated due to the winter we had it was probably due to road conditions. Second time calling service department for an oil change I noted I heard a clunking noise when I was driving slowly over bumps and braking. Representative stated I would need a brake service. I stated I didn't think it had to do with brakes. They responded "I don't either." The salespeople I dealt with were amazing but since purchase their staff is rude and unhelpful. I won't be going to this dealer again. More

The code also read blower motor well.....they only changed the resistor so two days later I was back for a blower motor. That was disappointing but I have heat now. I guess second times a charm. Jordan checked me in and he was awesome even the second time when I was crabby. But my big kudo is to Jayc. She is wonderful. She was always in contact with me via text or calls. Give her a raise (Jordan too). Hopefully I won’t be back soon but that is and will be my dealership!!!! Thanks. Amy More

Worst dealer in the midwest. I have repeatedly asked for help on service issues and he has done nothing. I STRONGLY recommend staying away from this dealership. I have purchased many cars across the metro and this is by far the worst dealer I've ever been to. $90,000 Jeep has sat in there for over 100 days in past 12 months. Don't go here. More
Slow service and rude staff 2014 Dodge Challenger had engine water damage. Car was towed to Walser in Hopkins. Requested new engine instead of the used one covered by insurance 2014 Dodge Challenger had engine water damage. Car was towed to Walser in Hopkins. Requested new engine instead of the used one covered by insurance and owner would pay out of pocket. Walser was supposed to order on 10/1. On 10/13, owner requested tracking. Walser said they received the engine 10/15. At that point, a car that's been waiting for service for three weeks gets put at the end of the queue. No updates from dealership service. They're busy...could be two to three weeks yet!! If you can afford to be without your vehicle for six ro eight weeks, have Walser work on your vehicle! Rude service manager (Eric) and GM mimics what he said! I have had all service for.this vehicle done at Walser. No customer service..lost me as a customer! More

By September 2017 the car was leaking antifreeze smoke into the passenger cabin through the vents and Walser said the new heater core had failed. They replaced that under a Mopar parts warranty at no cost. Last week, the same leaking happened. Walser claimed the heater core had again failed but insisted that the warranty would no longer cover replacement. This didn't seem right to me so I took the car to a different shop. The new shop diagnosed a bad radiator cap, and replaced the radiator cap. The car has been fine since. Walser just didn't seem willing to work with me to help resolve an issue that shouldn't have occurred three times (who ever heard of a heater core failing three times in 27 months?). Not only that, but they apparently cannot even diagnose a bad radiator cap. I'm not sure if it's ineptness or dishonesty but either way I won't be back. What would have been a $1400 repair actually turned out to be a $50 fix. More
