I couldn't . so I knew caliper was bad. I put it back on and went there the next day. dropped off car at 1 pm. appointment was 2 pm. waited and waited Michelle B. finally came to me at 330 pm hour and half later and said that the calipers were fine. i got confused. hour and a half to diagnose ? \i told them to replace brake pads and rotors. Start to feel FISHY by them. i figured that they spend the time hour and half trying to squeeze caliper piston back in and out to make it work. when i picked car up I told her that I will be back in 5 months for same problem. I have phone video of me moving caliper pins and trying to squeeze caliper piston back in. was told that the pad was frozen to the mounting bracket. I had pads off when i tried to squeeze caliper piston back in. I know because i worked on brakes before. I wanted to use the wrap around extended warranty for caliper and they're avoiding it. stuck pads make rotor get scraped beyond repair. no its the caliper piston that put pressure on pads and rotors. FISHY FISHY.. feeling disgusted. maybe i go to a different dealer for 2nd opinion ? More
Still waiting for a response I was told by my local mechanic my axle seal was leaking which was covered under my warranty. I contacted the dealership I bought the truck from (Wals I was told by my local mechanic my axle seal was leaking which was covered under my warranty. I contacted the dealership I bought the truck from (Walser Buick GMC in Roseville) and spoke with Michelle on a Thursday. I explained what my mechanic had told me and she said she would not confirm that was the problem until their mechanics diagnosed the problem themselves.... okaayyyy... she continued by saying IF that was the problem, it should take around 3 hours. Rental vehicles are only available for customers whose vehicles need 4 or more hours of work. Ok. I asked if I could make an appointment and she stated she did not want to schedule me that day because she didn’t want me to drive down there and not have a rental available if they needed to keep my truck overnight. Makes sense. She said she would call me on Saturday (remember it’s Thursday) and set up an appointment based on when a rental would be available. It’s been over a week and still no response. No missed calls... They have contacted me several times to remind me to service my truck so I know they have the correct phone number for me. I ended up calling a different dealership and they gave me a rental the SAME day I called them! They also had no issues with my mechanic’s diagnosis of my truck’s issue. I won’t be returning to their service department- let alone buy another vehicle from this dealership. More
Lack of timely service I SCHEDULED my vehicle to go into the Rosedale Buick dealership to get my snow tires removed. I bought my vehicle there and bought my snow tires there I SCHEDULED my vehicle to go into the Rosedale Buick dealership to get my snow tires removed. I bought my vehicle there and bought my snow tires there. When I showed up at the dealership, I was informed that the oil could be changed due to the mileage was so close. I told them I had an appointment later and asked if that would be a problem getting it done on time. He assured me that the job wouldn't take too long.. I knew that changing the oil and changing 4 tires would not take over an hour as its a pretty simple job to do on a less than 6000 mile vehicle. 2 and 1/2 hours later the vehicle was done. I missed my appointment later that afternoon. Customer service did not exist as I had informed him the exact time I had an appoint later that afternoon. He only came out after that time to tell me my vehicle should be done in less than a 1/2 hour. I will find another dealership to perform my service on my vehicle in the future. More
Really bad experience The visit started off bad when they didn't have any of my information that I gave them over the phone or the appointment that I scheduled in their sys The visit started off bad when they didn't have any of my information that I gave them over the phone or the appointment that I scheduled in their system. Two hours go by and they say they don't think anything is wrong but will keep looking. Three hours go by and they say problem is fixed. I get in the vehicle and immediately realize that the problem still exists, nothing had been done and they clearly didn't test drive it. Four hours go by and the shop is closing and they say that they THINK that if one part is replaced it MIGHT fix the problem. So after wasting $145 and four hours of my day I still had no answers. The employee who helped me was nice and apologized several times but that doesn't change the experience. More
I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy! Came in from out of town and had problems with my 96 Chevy Impala SS. Walser was convenient to my hotel. I actually intended to go to their GM competitor a little farther down the road but just drove in Chevy Impala SS. Walser was convenient to my hotel. I actually intended to go to their GM competitor a little farther down the road but just drove into the first GM dealer I saw. Everybody I encountered was friendly (including a little ribbing about being a Packer fan from the Land of Cheese), courteous and responsive to my needs. They took the car in immediately and had it repaired promptly and got it right the first time. Very happy. More
Hi, I just had my new Buick serviced and was impressed with the total experience. As I first walk into the customer waiting area I was greeted by Matthew, and had a friendly conversation with him. Short with the total experience. As I first walk into the customer waiting area I was greeted by Matthew, and had a friendly conversation with him. Shortly after that Andrei (my sales person) came over greeted me, then sat down and inquired about why I was there and if am I still satisfied with the Buick and the total Walser experience. It was nice that not only did they remembered me and my name but that they took time away from their busy day to make sure everything was OK. I just wasn't another sale! Heck, even your finance gentlemen who help to secure the loan recognized me and came over to say hello. I want to thank Andrei personally for all his follow up calls regarding my purchase, helping me with my numerous questions and for helping me with my after market purchases. Andrei goes beyond customer satisfaction after the sale. Thank you to the Walser team for making this truly a enjoyable working relationship. Happy Holidays, Ken Wilm More
