The paperwork required for purchasing was overwhelming & took a considerable amount of time ...approx. 2 hours. I felt that the original trade-in price of my existing vehicle was under estimated, however & took a considerable amount of time ...approx. 2 hours. John Tracy, the General Manager, told us in April when we bought a new 2011 F150 that we could flat tow this vehicle. 4 months later, when we are ready to hook up and go, we find that we CAN NOT flat tow a bought a new 2011 F150 that we could flat tow this vehicle. 4 months later, when we are ready to hook up and go, we find that we CAN NOT flat tow a 2011. You can however, flat tow a 2012. If he had not given us bad info, we would have bought a 2012 in April. Now he has cost us another FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS to get a 2012 truck. And, The truck has less options than the 2011. The 2011 was an XLT, now we have a SXT. He was rude, arrogant, and not helpful. I will never do business at Fuccillo again. HUGE PROBLEMS dealing there! I was shocked today to have a salesperson hang up in anger on me today. This person is so clueless that he actually called back as if the deal would continue, no apologies, no nothing. He kept promising anger on me today. This person is so clueless that he actually called back as if the deal would continue, no apologies, no nothing. He kept promising me that he could sell me the car and configuration I want--that's it's in the dealership family. When I told him that I want to see the car in-person before I would talk business and trade-in, suddenly his story changes to how it's impossible to get the car until I'm committed to the deal, even though I already gave financial and other information and told him the ballpark figures for negotiation. Being as straightforward as I can, I even talked about my trade-in's flaws and what other thought was a reasonable trade-in value. I asked for a photograph of the car I would buy since the Fuccillo websites have only the most generic stock photos. He became irate that I would ask such a thing, as if in this day and age no one has cell phone cameras, internet, and email. He actually asked me how in the world he could get a photograph to me, as if this was such an impossible task. He insisted that I just trust him "as a businessperson," and when I told him that its hard to because the industry had a reputation for duplicity, he said I was insulting him and hung up the phone. Wow. If this is what the sell is like, just imagine after-sale service and them honoring warranties. More
Dealt initially with salesman, Scott, who promised us a certain car, we signed paperwork and were to return with deposit the following day. Next day we went into Fuccillo Ford and waited 30 minutes to be certain car, we signed paperwork and were to return with deposit the following day. Next day we went into Fuccillo Ford and waited 30 minutes to be told that our car had just been sold to someone else. Oh....but they COULD put us into a more expensive car for a great deal. We left, discouraged. Came back a few weeks later and dealt with salesman, Chuck. To be honest, if it weren't for the lack of credit, we would not have continued with these people - but they have the ability to find creditors. Chuck was not very pleasant nor was he very helpful. We asked for a CarFax - did not get one. We were promised touch-up paint & alingment if we needed one but when we asked for a "We owe, You owe" form (twice) he talked in circles until we just gave up and settled for the touch-up paint that was promised. Also, our air-conditioner light and compressor came on when we turned the heat on. We questioned this and were told that it was a standard thing with the vehicle purchased. Within a week the lights started dimming on and off on the main front panel and then went out. We took it to the KIA dealership in Clay where they immediately ordered the whole panel to be replaced. This was done, and behold! the air conditioning unit only comes on now when it's supposed to. Lied to a second time. Two+ weeks waiting for the touch-up paint & we called Chuck to inquire. He told us that it hadn't come in and he'd call to check on it. 3 more weeks went by and no paint. Called Chuck again and he said the same thing. We then contacted the sales manager & explained our frustration, he promptly ordered the touch-up paint and we had it within a week. The worst part of the whole experience was the double-slippery talk. More
