The service itself - is exactly what I wanted - but the basics of it is - an oil change and tire rotation that I had to wait for almost 3 hours to get done (when I had an appointment) and was offered no ex basics of it is - an oil change and tire rotation that I had to wait for almost 3 hours to get done (when I had an appointment) and was offered no explanation as to why - just that there was a back up - should NOT have also cost me $100.. We had a tricky issue that the team at Fuccillo spent a lot of time solving! They went above and beyond to make sure our vehicle was safe to drive again and we are so grateful! lot of time solving! I was literally 200 miles from home when our vehicle broke down. I called over a dozen Ford Dealers from Lake Placid to the Albany area who could not take the vehicle in from 2 weeks to 2 months. I took our 1992 Ford Mustang in on Friday, October 24th at 8:30 for an appointment which I had made to have the oil pan gasket replaced on the 2.3 liter engine. Upon dropping the vehicle off I asked what t at 8:30 for an appointment which I had made to have the oil pan gasket replaced on the 2.3 liter engine. Upon dropping the vehicle off I asked what the approximate cost might be and was told that the job our require at least 9 hours and that the cost would be around $900.00, which I agreed to. I asked to be called should there be anything else the car might need. I also requested an alignment and the battery checked as I was having to jump the car. The battery had been purchased there in January when I replaced the tires and did additional work to the car as it had be parked for over 20 years. At that time I spent in excess of $1000. The following Thursday, October 30th, having not heard from Fuccillo, I called to inquire as to the repairs and was told that nothing had been done because I had not approved the repairs. The car had been at the dealership service department for almost a week and nothing had been done. I told them that I need the car ASAP, and calculating 9 labor hours, I thought the car would be done on Friday the next day. Saturday afternoon I went into the service department to inquire as to the repair and they showed me the car up on the lift and a mechanic working on the car. I was told that it should be done Monday, the 4th. I did not hear from the dealership so Tuesday late morning I went to the dealership and was old that the car was done on Monday. NO CALL!!!! I was not happy. They did discount the $1000 bill a $100. Did not help with the added expense to have to use Lift and Uber to get to and from work. I payed the bill and requested that the courtesy van pick me up at my church so I could return and pick up my truck. I was told, no problem, the courtesy van knew where our church is and would be by to pick me up. Three hours later, I walked the 1.8 miles from the church to the dealership in drizzling rain to get my truck. I had not heard anything from the dealership. Sad. I am considering whether or not I ever use their service department again. All I requested was a simple phone call during the process, something that would have taken less than a minute to accomplish. More
I usually receive very good service. I waited more than three hours fir an oil change and tire rotation. I was not informed of any backup of work when I dropped my vehicle off. Not personable. Apparently prices increased so much so that my normal oil change/tire rotation went from $45 to $97. Price was not clearly explained on invoice either. Only explanation was oil prices went that my normal oil change/tire rotation went from $45 to $97. Price was not clearly explained on invoice either. Only explanation was oil prices went up like gas did. However oil cost went up maybe $2 when looking at a previous invoice. Called other Ford dealership and cost for these services is in fact $45. Very unsatisfied with this increase, lack of any explanation in person and on invoice. I use this location due to convenience, however, would rather be inconvenienced than come back. More
The wait is a bit long for someone to check you in and out. Overall, communication is good. I did have to go out and find my vehicle, usually it’s brought out. Other than that, everything was fine. out. Overall, communication is good. I did have to go out and find my vehicle, usually it’s brought out. Other than that, everything was fine. More
Advertising was $69.95 for an oil change. I paid $132.87. Told it was due to synthetic oil. Charged $1.99 for wiper fluid. Shrinkflation? Why not included!? Told it was due to synthetic oil. Charged $1.99 for wiper fluid. Shrinkflation? Why not included!? More
