Bought a used car from them a week ago and it already has issues, doesn’t run right. Shakes when u accelerate. Glad they forced the extended warranty on me although it probably won’t even be covered. Just purchased my second xc40 from Wallace Volvo and had a great experience again. John was very helpful and never once made me feel pressured, just gave me options and helped me choose what was best for me a great experience again. Steve with finance was hilarious, and again no pressure and could tell he genuinely cared about helping me and my situation (previous Volvo was totaled but she held her own, hence me buying the same exact car again!) John, Steve, and Cisco were all helpful, and not once felt like i was playing some game. Will be back for another Volvo when this lease is up!! More
I was looking for a car for my daughter. We saw something that would fit her needs. My daughter is under 18 and I am working abroad, so I could not be with her. She contacted Wallace and had Joshua as her sales manager. He right away considered her as a client, which did not happened in couple other dealership. She went to see and test the car, obviously a daughter will tell you everything good about a car like they are experts..so you buy it. I got in contact with Joshua, who was genuine and personal. We went through the details of the car and best price he could offer us. Once we agreed on a price, he referred me to Bob (the finance director ...I believe) and we worked out the paperwork. This took couple days as my time zone was quite different. Joshua kept following the process and was available on WhatsApp the whole time (day and evening...even on the weekend). All documents signed, the car was picked up by my son who really had to take the keys and drive out. He delivered it at home and it made a beautiful surprise to my daughter as she had no clue I had bought the car she "loved". Now, she loves it even better. Thank you the Wallace team and especially to Joshua and Bob who made it very smooth and personable. More
Had a very easy process buying our new Volvo XC60 at Wallace Volvo. Jackie OConnor our sales person was patient, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Do not buy a Volvo if you can help it from this dealer, or any other, for that matter!! They are coercive and the service is awful. I called Wallace Volvo in mid-October regarding broken air conditioning ( or any other, for that matter!! They are coercive and the service is awful. I called Wallace Volvo in mid-October regarding broken air conditioning (in South Florida) and was told they couldn't service my car until JANUARY. (My lease is up Dec, 31st, so quite convenient for them) I tried to trade it in, and that was when I learned that Volvo Finance does not allow you to trade your car in with any other dealer or even to return it to one of their own dealers. With other brands, you can sell your car and then buy out the end of your lease, or trade it in to another dealer for a new car (if, for instance, you wouldn't have air conditioning for 2.5 months). If that wasn't enough, Volvo started sending me notifications to have my end-of-lease inspection within the last 90 days of my lease, so I called Wallace Volvo and first spoke to Service and then to Sales to make the inspection appointment (which I was very clear about). The said to come in on Saturday at 11 am. When I got there after a 1 hour drive they said, we don't provide that service but we would love to sell you a new Volvo. Talk about coercion. So disgusted. I am paying full price for a non-working vehicle. The funny thing is, I almost bought this car. The only silver lining is that I now know Volvo's true colors. If service treats an end-of-lease potential repeat customer like this, imagine how little regard you would get if you already owned the car? Hope this helps someone else! More
