I have been a Hyundai customer since September 2007 when I purchased my first Hyundai, an Elantra, for its new stylish design, fuel efficiency, and most of all dependability. I never had to think twice abou I purchased my first Hyundai, an Elantra, for its new stylish design, fuel efficiency, and most of all dependability. I never had to think twice about jumping in my Hyundai and taking off on a last minute road trip. In the five years I owned this car I drove it everywhere racking up 91,000 miles! I absolutely loved this car! In May, my husband and I found out that we are expecting our first child, due February 2013. I knew that I would have to trade up my little Elantra for something that would fit our growing family. Just the thought of having to visit the “dreaded car dealership” and deal with “a pushy salesmen” created unwanted anxiety. After doing our due diligence we came to the conclusion that we wanted to stay with Hyundai. It just so happened that an associate of my husband’s had just purchased a new Santa Fe from Wallace Hyundai in Stuart and spoke very highly of his experience with this dealership. With it just 4 months before the arrival of our son we decided that this dreaded task of visiting the dealership could no longer be postponed. On Saturday, September 22 my husband talked me into making the drive up to Wallace Hyundai in Stuart from our home in Jupiter. Upon arriving at Wallace Hyundai we were greeted by their smiling sales team and a sales person, Shawn Liggett, promptly offered his assistance. Because of past bad/horrible/dreaded experiences, at a different Hyundai dealership, my husband immediately asked to speak with the General Manager, Gary Marvich. We were reassured by Gary that Shawn would more than take care of all of our needs and that if the time came, Gary would personally oversee the evaluation of our trade-in and the negotiation of our purchase. Shawn spent hours with us that day walking the lot, answering questions, test driving, and then eventually running the numbers on a Hyundai Santa Fe that we really liked. We talked numbers, purchasing and leasing options but, came to the conclusion that the monthly payment for the SUV was just outside of our comfort zone. With a smile on his face Shawn’s response was that of understanding. Having 8 children himself, Shawn understood, that with our growing family and uncertainty of having two incomes come 2013, why we were reluctant to go above a certain number we had predetermined prior to arriving at the dealership that day. We then inquired about the Sonata. (We were adamant about purchasing an SUV.) Would the mid-sized sedan even be big enough for our expanding family? Shawn lit-up when the Sonata was mentioned. He told us that not only is the Sonata spacious enough, it had several discount options available that would more-than-likely put it in or below our price range. Shawn took us back onto the lot in search of the perfect Sonata. Colors and options were abundant! We test drove and quickly found the perfect Sonata that day! The moment I sat in it I knew it was “my car!” We had arrived at Wallace Hyundai that day with the mind-set that we needed an SUV. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious size of the 2013 Hyundai Sonata. We were even more surprised and pleased by your sales associate Shawn Liggett. He was attentive, patient and allowed us to weigh our options and make a decision at our own pace, even if that meant test-driving almost every model Hyundai on the lot! He was never once pushy or acted like we were wasting his time. This was by far the best car buying experience my husband and I have ever had! You have our word that we will return to Wallace for our next vehicle as well as recommend the Wallace dealerships to friends, family, etc. We are proud to say that we are still a part of the Hyundai Family however; we are even more excited to say that we are now part of the Wallace Family! More
i am so disgusted with this place now after being a customer for over 10 years of wallace dealerships and buying over 15 cars in the past. it all began the way i was treated the other day when i brough customer for over 10 years of wallace dealerships and buying over 15 cars in the past. it all began the way i was treated the other day when i brought one of my cars in (2012 Hyundai elantra) in for service and after pulling up in the bays i must of sat there waiting for stan to get of the phone laughing away with someone while he shoulda been out there helping the other customers that were waiting there that day. so after waiting for a while my car got in and then about another 2 hours later my car comes out and it looks like someone took it through mud! so that was it for me i told all of my clients tat i deal with to never shop at wallace ever again and now i cant wait to get rid of my two cars from wallace now and which they are being traded in a.s.a.p at another dealership! if you want good service and you want your car to be treated professionally then defiantly don't to to wallace! More

I purchased a brand new vehicle from wallace hyundai about two weeks ago. When i went in there for the first i was approached by a complete loud mouth sales person named dirk gilbert. after a few days o about two weeks ago. When i went in there for the first i was approached by a complete loud mouth sales person named dirk gilbert. after a few days of negotiating with him on the price of the vehicle everything worked out good. when it came to sign papers Dirk spoke about the vehicle and what it had in it and one of the things that i heard him say (FOUR) times is that it has a feature called bluelink and this feature is something that i loved so im thinking that i really had this great feature. so after having he car for about a week and a half im wondering how i set up this blue link option. so i went on hyundai usa.com and i signed up for it and after going through the whole process it says on the screen after i put in theVIN number that my car does not have that accessibility so i went to the dealership and went to Dirk and told him that my car doesn't have that you claimed it had. he replied "ohh i never told you it had that you didn't spend enough money to have that feature. you were too cheap and decided not to spend the extra money to have it.so i told dirk that something must be done about this and i want what i was told in the beginning that i had. he then went and had a melt down and started yelling and flipping out that its too damn bad that you don't have it and he told me that i should have bought from somewhere else. its so ironic that now that i purchased the vehicle and he got his money his whole attitude changed and he wants nothing to do with me. So i guess these are the type of unprofessional people that this dealership hires. i will never buy another vehicle from there again nor will ever recommend any of my friends,family and clients. anyone that purchases a vehicle from this place just keep in mind that they will act like your best friend and then after you purchase a vehicle from them they will want nothing to do with you. but on the other hand the service department is great but defiantly not the sales area.
