I’ll start by saying that for many years of owning my Ford edge, I had nothing but excellent service at this dealership. However, since post pandemic, it has been on a steady decline with each visit. Almost 2 years ago, I took my car in and they could not figure out what was wrong with it, long story short, I was eventually given a rental, which I held onto for several months because they forgot my car was there. When the mechanic finally did fix the issue, he advised he had no idea my car was on the lot and that it could’ve been fixed in a much quicker time. fast forward to my most recent visit, where I paid $300 for a part and $1500 for “six hours” in labor. I was able to negotiate that down by a whopping $150 for a “so-called” coupon. This has nothing to do with my service technician, and everything to do with the outrageous pricing. I understand that labor costs are up, but this was over the top. In hindsight, we should have told the car back to our house and put in the hours to fix it ourselves. As I told my technician, that was my last visit to Walker Ford. I will never buy another car or return there for service. More
