I brought my truck in for other work as well as a belt squeak. I told them that the belt looked good so I was concerned something the belt turns was seizing up. They called and said it was the belt and th squeak. I told them that the belt looked good so I was concerned something the belt turns was seizing up. They called and said it was the belt and that it needed replacing. I was charged parts and labor $171.95 to replace it. The same day I got the truck back the belt squeak was back. I took it in the next week. They kept the truck the whole day (Saturday) and told me it wasn't the belt squeaking, it was an exhaust manifold leak. Now they want to repair that. So quick recap: They charged me $171.95 to replace a good belt, kept my truck an entire Saturday the following week leaving me to lose a good day off spending it at home, and now they want me to lose another day and give them more money to fix the problem they misdiagnosed the first time. No I'm not happy with them at all. When I buy my next Ford it will be somewhere else. More
I live in North Carolina and recently purchased a 2013 Ford Escape locally. Shortly thereafter I went to Florida on an extended vacation. The second week I was there my dealership in NC contacted me reg Ford Escape locally. Shortly thereafter I went to Florida on an extended vacation. The second week I was there my dealership in NC contacted me regarding a recall of my car. I was told to drive it to the closest Ford Dealer and drop it off. I thought about it for a few minutes and remembered a friend who had done business with Walker Ford in years past, so decided to call them. Vince Romano told me to come on down and he would take care of my car. I was welcomed and immediately advised that I would be given a rental at Ford's expense, and they even helped me unload my belongings (as I was traveling) into the rental. Mike Olsen and Vince assured me that they would advise me when my car was ready and kept in touch over the next ten days while my car was there. When they called to tell me my car was ready, I returned to the dealership to pick it up. My car had been washed, filled with gas and was waiting for me. They also filled the rental car with gas before returning it to Hertz. They knew I was from out of state and probably would never do any business with them again, but still went out of their way to take good care of me during this time. Frankly, I just might become a customer, because of how nice I was treated during this time. Also, their prices are better than where I live in North Carolina. ha. I would highly recommend Walker Ford to anyone who wants to be treated fairly, and helped in every way possible to make a difficult situation as comfortable as possibe. Mr. Frank Walker and Mr. Weston Walker, I thank you for having such caring and informed individuals working for your dealership. Belive me, I have told many persons about your dealership and how well I was treated there on my travels throughout Florida and Alabama. When I got back to North Carolina this week, I immediately stopped by my local Ford dealership to inform them of how nicely I was treated in Florida by Walker Ford. I have been watching for the 2013 Ford Fusion to hit the showroom, last time through they had the new Titanium on the floor. didnt want to deal with the high pressure sales strategy, your team gave me what I wanted and needed along with tradinging in my 2012 F150, bought the Titanium off the floor. they were knowledgeable, helpful and efficient getting the deal done. Vic and Tim did a great job taking care of me. We are looking for a second Titanium in the next few months, will be sure to come back here and purchase. I brought my F250 in for a routine service. Change Oil, Filter and Lube. I also asked for the tires to be rotated and to check for a minor water leak in the front of the engine. I also asked them to check the brakes when they had the wheels off for rotation. I got the truck back, and the report was the brakes were good, and there was a loose hose clamp on the lower hose. I went back to my business and noticed that the tires on one side had been rotated, and the other side had not. The heavy brake residue on the left side rims were now on the back tire. The heavy brake residue on the right side was still on the front tire. I also looked to see if the truck was lubricated, and as usual, it was not. I have been fighting with the service department for years to lube the truck when they service it. I took the truck back to the dealer, and they cheerfully rotated the other tires and lubricated the front end. So why did I have to take it back again. This is the last straw with Walker's service department. The sales people are great, but the service department has been bad for many many years and it is getting no better. I will not frequent Walker Ford again, for any reason. You cannot keep selling customers cars if the service department chases them away. More

Jack Mitchell met me at the showroom door and actually listened to me when I explained my needs.He explained the current inventory of Explorers,their options and price ranges.
