(They put in brake We purchased a car from this dishonest dealer. There were two issues prior to purchase. They fixed one and covered over the other. (They put in brake fluid instead of power steering fluid, which covered over a power steering issue long enough to get us out the door.) That issue was corrected by our reputable repair shop. We purchased a warranty, at a cost of $2,000. That is no small change for us. We were told that we could use any licensed repair shop, as long as they called before doing repairs. Fast forward 18 months. There were issues with the car, and I did as they asked. Our reputable mechanic called and was told the issues could only be repaired by a dealer. This is completely opposite of what we were told at purchase. I called Wadsworth Motorcars and spoke with J.R. J.R> is the manager and the owner's son. He said he called the Toyota Cares rep. According to JR, the rep said it is their discretion to only allow a dealer to make repairs. This would be the same dealer that couldn't even put the correct fluid in the steering column. In other words, our $2000 warranty is totally useless. I thought Wadsworth Motorcars was a reputable used car dealer. THEY ARE NOT. THEY ARE DISHONEST. DO NOT buy from this dealer. More

To make a long sto For the record, I did not buy a car at this dealership, but was close until I spoke to the gentleman running this small dealership. To make a long story a bit shorter, I was very interested in buying a car from this dealership and spoke to Nick about a possible purchase. After our first conversation (phone) I got a call back from him saying that there were no wiggle room on price. I explained that I had to travel far and if there was anything they could do to sweeten the deal. I mentioned that I needed a cover for the truck and Nick , in plain English said that they could throw-in a cover they had left-over from a different truck with a regular bed. After talking a bit more I informed him that this was great and that I just had to sleep on it for a day. I called back next day and Nick was not in, so I got the gentleman running the dealership, “Nicks boss”. After introducing myself, I explained the situation and he was quick to say that the truck cover I spoke to Nick about, was not in the deal. After explaining myself a bit more, he called Nick and quickly phoned me back ( in less than a minute) to say that Nick was a great guy, but had a very specific issue (not elaborating on this since I personally think that backhand compliments followed by trash-talking your employees is way out of line and part of the reason I write this review) and that I just heard him say something he did not say…..basically accusing me of hearing things. Note: I am very sure that I listened since $32K is a chunk of change in my world!! I told him that this development made me uncomfortable with buying a 32K truck from the dealership remotely “basically trust went out the window with rude comments about their own employees, back-tracking and telling me I heard wrong” in a conversation he was not even in. The manager of this dealership proceeded his very rude behavior and hung-up on me. I was going to buy this car had he been courteous and customer friendly, but his behavior made me seriously doubt their business practices. Just to set the record straight, Nick "the employee" was pleasant to deal with and I appreciated his effort and willingness to get a deal done!! More
