Simonson left us STRANDED, without a car ALL weekend! Dropped our car off there this morning at 10:45am for routine service B. We were not told how long it would take nor their weekend hours. Received a text (not call) at 4:01PM ON A SATURDAY that the car is ready. Checked their website and to our surprise, found out they close at 5 pm and are closed Sunday. We tried calling them immediately but no one answered. If you live in LA, you know you can't get ANYWHERE, let alone to SANTA MONICA in 59 minutes. Called their sales office next door and the RUDE receptionist didn't care at all about our situation and just kept saying "you should've told them to bring your keys to the dealership". How could I have done that if I didn't know when the car would be ready? They didn't even have the decency to call us and tell us "Your car is ready but we close in 59 minutes. Would you like us to take the keys to the dealership?" BUT NO. That was too hard. So now we're stuck until Monday without a car. You better believe we're making them pick us up Monday morning because we are NOT paying for our own transportation there because of their stupid mistake. We will definitely NOT be returning to this terrible location with zero common sense or customer service. More

I had a couple of our Mercedes Benz serviced here before.... It was great and painless. Except this time, when we came in, I was greeted with an S.A named Volkan S. Shady guy, dodged all the questions, in person and on the phone. We left our car there for a good month for a minor fender damage, broken headlight and scratched bumper. The reason why we got it towed there was because it had a "power steering malfunction" warning. Now mind you, the vehicle only had minor exterior damage, so we weren't expecting a $10K bill. Thats right! 10K and thats not including to repair the exterior damage. They said that we had to replace the power steering system and what not. I was shocked to say the least, so I made my way down to the dealer. Asked to get the car out, power steering was working normally. ( I too have requested over the phone for the computer to be resetted and what not but he insisted that the power steering is still broken) By this time, Volkan seems annoyed and frustrated. I told him that since nothing was done, we just wanted the car out. I asked him if it was Free of Charge, he then got REALLY annoyed, proceeded to see that I was driving a Jaguar that day and decided to berate it. It kind of goes like this "do you think this is a Jaguar? where everything is free? Jaguar is xxxx, etcetc". I was appalled that they have this kind of employee working at Mercedes Benz. Maybe he was having a bad day, but sorry, that is no way to talk to a customer. Spoke with the manager, not sure if anything got resolved. On the other hand, I do have a great S.A before Volkan... I have been having my cars serviced since 2002 The y are kind, knowledgeable and get the job done! I love my service rep and the Service manger are both great . As usual the best Service Departmeng by far. I took my recently purchased new C300 to the service dept. without an appointment for an issue I was having with my runflat tires. Service advisor Der I took my recently purchased new C300 to the service dept. without an appointment for an issue I was having with my runflat tires. Service advisor Derrick Franklin was very quick and thorough while inspecting and writting up the service order. He noticed and pointed out another issue that I had with another one of my tires. He got on the phone right away and made sure the parts necessary were in stock and had my car immediately in service. He asked me to go the waiting area while my car was being repaired. I was stunned ! A short while later my car was repaired and washed. Incredible. Derrick was very curteous, thorough and polite. I have a couple of other Mercedes dealers closer to where I live but there but this is one of the many reasons i choose Simonson Mercedes in Santa Monica. Phenomenal Job guys!!! More

Probably the best service experience ever! Tim was amazing! From start to finish I was totally impressed with the service and repairs at WI Simonson. The text message updates I got from the team there were easy and simple, the drop off and courtesy car process was easy too. The costs were reasonable and fair and this was after I'd compared them to other Mercedes service depts in LA! But Most of all the guy I dealt with (Tim Siegel) was crazy good! He was so informative, so genuine, it made the whole process a pleasure! he made my experience an amazing one and I never thought I d say that about a car service center! 5 Stars! More
45 minutes to check my car in for service. My first time coming in for scheduled maintenance. 7:45 appointment (I was there on time), at 8:30 the adviser finally came to help me (the guys that My first time coming in for scheduled maintenance. 7:45 appointment (I was there on time), at 8:30 the adviser finally came to help me (the guys that immediately greet you and do the little digital registration of your car are great, courteous, and efficient). Before anyone even looked at my car, the adviser suggested getting my front end aligned ($180). I said "here's a suggestion, have the technician look at it first to see if it is needed, then make a suggestion). I was told when I made the appointment it might take a few hours, but when I got there, I was told it would take all day. Luckily, I had reserved a loaner car. Now for that experience. Nothing wrong with how the process was carried out; but my compliant is they make no effort to provide you with a car similar to the one you brought in for service. I think that is not a good business decision, because they give you a car that you have not idea of how it operates and you are put onto the streets trying to navigate traffic and figure out the features and mirrors and everything. I might have to get rid of my Benz and go back to Lexus or give Audi a try, based upon Mercedes Benz service centers. Hopefully, I won't have any surprises when they call me about my car. Will provide more feedback at the end of my experience, but I didn't want to wait to write up this part of my experience. More
They are using cheating software. My car broke down after being repaired with Mercedes Benz Beverly Hills. Fed up with them I had it towed to Simonson. Both service centers are in bed with each other along with Mercedes Benz USA. They are manipulating and using cheating software (like Volkswagon) to shut off ignition switches and charge for services not rendered or necessary How do I know this? I purchased a Car Fax report after Simonson did work on my car. Nothing was ever done. Always purchase a Car Fax after repair work is done to verify charges. Horrible experience. More
Service Department Honesty It pains me to say this, but we have to comment on the honesty of the service department. We took our 2013 C250 into the shop due to a right front whe It pains me to say this, but we have to comment on the honesty of the service department. We took our 2013 C250 into the shop due to a right front wheel stress fracture. The car has 22K miles and is primarily driven around the MdR area. The tire was loosing air so we first took it to our 76 Garage (nice full service place by the way on Maxcella); who advised it was not a tire issue, but a wheel stress fracture. They showed us the wheel and in their expert opinion, there were no indications of any damage that would have caused this. Never having experienced a cracked wheel in any car I purchased, did some on-line research and to my surprise, this occurrence is somewhat common on AMG wheels. Armed with this information, took it to WI Simonson thinking it would be covered. WRONG! They opined my wife must have hit a pothole, something to cause this damage. It should be noted the tire was not damaged (original) and frankly, growing up on the pothole ridden east coast, steel wheels simply don't crack when encountering potholes. These arguments were not relevant to WI Simonson. They wanted $1300 to replace it! I was shocked given the empirical evidence and suspected they simply did not want to either admit there may be a defect or incur the expense. I will never buy or lease a car from these people! I have lost trust in their maintenance department and their desire to back their products. More
