Utterly disgusted at the lack of professionalism and how unprepared the salesman (Omar) and his manager were. Walked in hoping to buy a CPO out right and was constantly asked if I was serious about buying t unprepared the salesman (Omar) and his manager were. Walked in hoping to buy a CPO out right and was constantly asked if I was serious about buying today, and if I wasn’t to keep shopping elsewhere. Their cars are over priced and poorly maintained, most in need of new breaks and rotors. Stay away!! You’re wasting your time if you shop here! no Volvo experience at this “dealership” at all.. STAY AWAY! More
This is my 5th Volvo wagon and I do love the car so at least there is that. They are good but you gotta stay on top of them. I went in to buy a certified car and they told me all the great things abou least there is that. They are good but you gotta stay on top of them. I went in to buy a certified car and they told me all the great things about certification but in reality they never really checked anything at least I have the strong power of the manufacturer warranty for whatever they skipped. They tell you the tires and brakes are all within spec. Two days after owning the car the low tire light comes on and 3 consecutive days I need to add air. Also notice the wheel shimmy whenever coming down from speed on a highway ramp. Two weeks after purchasing the car I had to leave the car with them for a week to replace the tires, brakes and rotors. They were nice enough to only make me wait two hours before they sent me home in a loaner vehicle. I had spoke with the service manager and asked if the tires and brakes were in stock turned out they weren't. I am still waiting for keys to the roof rack and they did supply me with a second key after I noticed on the certified paperwork that every car should have two keys. One more funny story, while they had my car for a week and were replacing the tires and brakes I did. ask them to install some mud flaps which I confirmed were $175 and talked to them about doing since they had all the wheels off anyway for the tires and brakes. They did still feel it necessary to charge me 1.5 hours to install the mud flaps which came out to $341... More
This Review is on the Volvo Dealership in Watertown CT Made an appointment to have my airbag replaced under The warrenty/ recall program. Decided while I was there to have 2 other items taken ca CT Made an appointment to have my airbag replaced under The warrenty/ recall program. Decided while I was there to have 2 other items taken care of: Engine Oil change Dash cluster was not lit in a small area First up: Oil Change, I specifically asked for Sythentic oil, they said it was not needed. But I said clearly that this is what I put in my car. Please put in Sythentic oil. When they told the car was ready, I started it and immediately could feel that they lied to me, the engine was running rough with vibration felt in cabin, louder noise heard on highway. I drove the car this way for 2 months, brought the car back to shop That I typicaly use for work, had another oil changed performed= Back to normal, no vibration & no noise. Not only did the dealership lie to me, they almost cost me my car’s engine! Second up: Dash board cluster, Was told the whole cluster needed to be replaced. I asked how much? Was told they would let me know because they Didn’t know if it was even available anymore here in the US. When car was given back I asked again “how much for a new cluster?” Still no answer, was told they would call me. Never got a call. So I called The dealership back & again asked “how much for the cluster?” They still didn’t know & they never called me back with the answer. Brought the car back to the shop that I typically use for work, They gently pulled the cluster out, replaced 2 little bulbs = all set, Good as new. In summary, the Volvo dealership in Watertown CT is clearly not interested in listening to their customers nor do they care about keeping your car on the road. Thankfully I have a nice shiny new airbag/airbag cover on my steering wheel now …. But it wasn’t free for me after all. More
