Mis diagnosis from subaru dealership tucson Purchased my volvo xc70 on jan 2017 from subaru dealership tucson, that is owned by the same owners. The car had issues the day i purchased it (they would not even offer any warranty for it) but every time i bring it there to check for issues, they just said its nothing but check engine is always on and warning signs to shut down the engine. But i at several times mentioned to the subaru dealerfhipto bring my car to volvo service center but they refused because they said that i purchased the vehicle from them. Finally after 4 to 5 visits the subaru service brought the car over to volvo service. Finally, volvo of tucson service was able to pin point the issue. The Mis diagnosis from subaru service center has cost me $700.00 out of pocket for no reason. Thank you Adam for assuring me that i can bring my car to volvo dealer for any issues. Excellent.Taking the time to fix the actual issue with the car. More

I always felt so special, treated like a good friend, and/or a family member. My husband is so thankful to Garret as well for the excellent job. Garret always makes sure that all stated concerns about my car are taken care of in an excellent manner. I got my change oil, timing belt, and breaks pads done in one day! Very competitive service cost too. Whew! But most of all, Volvo is truly so blessed to have this person on board in its service center. He so skilled in customer service and excellent communicator, always calm! Thank you so much Garret. I will definitely tell friends and families about how excellent your service center operate. It is undeniable that he got an excellent staff. Chris was so quick to offer help at the moment I arrived. Even though I only want to talk to Garret, Chris made me feel comfortable that it is OK to be assisted by him that same quality as his manager will be delivered and sure enough Chris delivered it. All the staff are very very friendly. While I was waiting, Adam was so friendly while chit chatting with me. I love this place! It always makes me feel good every time I visit. Most importantly, I am confident that my car has been taken care of and safe to drive, so thank you Mike J. for your technical expertise. This car is in excellent condition. More success Volvo! More

Unmatched Quality of Customer Service by Garret! Garret always brings sunshine to my day every time I visit this place. He is very well-mannered/polite, always professional, and friendly regardless o Garret always brings sunshine to my day every time I visit this place. He is very well-mannered/polite, always professional, and friendly regardless of the mood you’re bringing in when you walk-in to his center. And the quality of his technician’s workmanship is unmatched and won’t spoil your day either when you pick up and drive your vehicle out the center. This group never disappointed me not once. My observation is that Garret will always try his very best to meet your expectations as long as it is reasonable. I truly adore the demeanor of this very young manager, very respectable, and highly skilled when it comes to dealing with difficult customer like me. He always knew what he can do for you. I brought my vehicle in on a Friday, November 18 and just came from a very exhausting and long meeting. I was glad I was heading to Volvo because I know I’ll have a good time with the folks over there and I was right! They are like a stress-reliever specially Garret. Every time I drop my vehicle over, the staff are just the most positive, friendly, and caring people I’ve ever met-from the reception area, or the parts department, and most of all, the Service Manager Garret. In addition, I was happy that I got to meet the Technician Mike on that day—having to have met him face to face made me more connected to this place and made me feel that he’ll do his best to make me safer in driving my car. I love these two guys and I will never leave Volvo as long as these two folks are with Volvo. They are more of a caring family member to me now more than just a service center. I think I pestered Garret many times but he never lost his temper. At one time, I got impatient when I couldn’t get a hold him. Of course, he told me that he is always busy and advised me that I can always ask his staff any questions but I choose not to talk to anybody except him. I have to say, I have difficulties trusting people, specially, when I was just beginning to build that confident and trusting relationship with this center. So I choose to deal with Garret only who has gained that high level of my trust and respect so I do not want to jeopardize what I have known about this center. I am extremely critical about my interaction with people because if I ever sense a smidgeon of bad attitude towards me I will never go back to this center again. Garret just got the right attitude that make me feel my concerns about my car are being taken seriously. I brought my XC90 on November 18 to get my shifter base checked and repaired. Garret told me that he’ll have Mike see if he can adheres it because replacing will too costly. I got never disappointed, Mike fixed it perfectly, well-done, and I cannot thank both of them enough. Garret always try to save you money as much as he can and what I love about Garret? You can be sure he will never rip you off. He is such an honest man and very very very very nice. My next service is scheduled sometime in May 2017 and I will miss this place. I highly recommend this service center for your auto service needs. My husband said he'll do the install himself to save money in labor cost. So we went home and he did try, spent hours to unscrew the parts of the vehicle but failed to do so due to build-up dirt I guess. He was frustrated and he thought he stripped the screw. I contacted service and a lady named Alexis told me to just drive by and she can have someone help me. I did drive back to this place, frustrated of course embarrassed for our inability to handle a very minor thing but when I got there she directed me back to Parts Dept. and Rick took over from there. Rick was very pleasant. In just a few minutes, he handed me my key and I was able to get home feeling relief. I am the most impatient and critical person but this place has always been delivering the most admirable customer service and I always got the best help. I had excellent experience with the service center and now with the Parts Dept. Thank you Volvo of Tucson! More

Another Excellent Service for my XC90 by Garret Gebhart XC'ponentially and excellent service for my XC90! Garret is trustworthy and direct but very clear. I brought up series of concerns that I have notic XC'ponentially and excellent service for my XC90! Garret is trustworthy and direct but very clear. I brought up series of concerns that I have noticed with my car, from windshield, wiper, radio back light, and re-visiting list of big ticket items that Garret had mentioned back in May 2016 that need to be taken care of. He took down all my new concerns and he recommended to have his tech re-inspected the vehicle to make sure what they noted earlier in May is the same and that there were no concerning safety issues that need to be addressed first. For the little items, he was honest enough to say, you can have Safelite Auto Glass do your windshield if you are going to use your insurance, they are good. He then went over with me, item by item, and helped me understand the implication of each of the items when they don’t get done. Thankfully, no safety issue and nothing major that needed to be taken care of immediately, majority were just the regular maintenance items. He listed what would he recommend to be done first. I trust Garret’s judgment because when our car was screwed up by Fletcher’s Tire and Auto Service (from the frontline Manager, to the District Manager all the way up to the Corporate Service Manager), he had Mike, Volvo Tech, helped us out tremendously in diagnosing the problem. While our normal lives were put into the Fletcher’s havoc, we found Garret who has this complete opposite demeanor - very enthusiastic, project confident that he knew what he is doing and talking about, he spoke the language that is universally and totally make sense and understandable, very patient with us, he listened well, and he helped us out of that untrusting group of people. Garret is very professional, he does NOT treat you like how I treated at Fletcher’s where, in my opinion, Fletcher's shop personnel start strategizing on how they can charge you on things that you don’t even know at the moment you got into their door. That is not the case at Volvo. Garret’s leadership is obviously the best I’ve seen in the automotive industry--- he has changed my perception in the service industry. I thought all auto service centers’ employees are grumpy, unfriendly, and all techs are just newly grad or inexperience and just using your car as Guinea pig to gain more knowledge. At Volvo Tucson Service Center, that place is different! Elaine and Ken who helped me get home and back to the center were very friendly. I am the most skeptical person and having to be driven by strangers is not my cup of tea. But the moment I got into the car that morning, Ken greeted me so professionally, his demeanor made me feel comfortable. We chatted while we’re on the road and I felt like I’ve known him for a while so when he dropped me off, I even forgot to give him a tip (sorry Ken). I am sure he was never expected it but these types of good people deserved to be recognized to promote such good behavior. Same with Elaine, she was very friendly, and I had fun chatting with her while on the car until we got back to the shop and even when she was assisting me with the loaner car. Because I have not driven the latest model of any makes, I was asking too many questions about the operation of the loaner car but Garret never left me there by myself until he sense that I was OK to let go. These people are “The” most wonderful group I’ve encountered in the industry. One last thing, I have never dropped my car off to a service center without my husband with me because majority of these service centers I’ve dropped my (previous) cars off, the men are jerks when they sense that you have little knowledge about cars. These centers have their own brand name but to protect their reputation, I won’t mentioned it because performance wise, they do OK and they are not as bad as Fletcher’s Tire when it comes to integrity, credibility, and character. They are so unfriendly, treat you like your idiot but Garret never showed a bit of that character. So, I’ll be a Volvo fan the rest of my life unless Garret leaves the place and Volvo doesn’t replace exactly the same or better if there is anyone better out there than Garret and his team! Folks, the price is affordable too but you get good experience and you know your car is safe when you leave that place, you get the best value of your money, and you got the best team behind you.
