4 hours of waiting with an appointment, for nothing Went with a 2018 XC90 inscription which I thought had a passenger side exhaust separated and loosened by coming into contact with a curb. There was a space between the exhaust pipe and the lower right portion of the vehicle. Not major but noticeable. I was told it was popped back into place but for a longer term fix, body work might be required. I was told after 2 hours and 45 minutes that the car was being washed. 1 hour and 15 minutes later the car was delivered to me and lo and behold, nothing was done to it at all. That is unacceptable. I will not go back to that place. If that is any example of the work product that Volvo dealer find acceptable then I probably will regret having made the move from Toyota to Volvo. Just as an aside, another customer was told his oil change would take 1 1/2 hours but 3 hrs later his car was brought out having sustained a gash in the driver's side door while in the shop for the oil change. More

Surprisingly Unresponsive I purchased a certified pre-owned volvo in early May, my first time purchasing a volvo. They assured me that it had received a 100% score on its cert I purchased a certified pre-owned volvo in early May, my first time purchasing a volvo. They assured me that it had received a 100% score on its certified inspection. The day I picked it up, the car chargers did not work and the next day, one of the bumper sensors started going off continuously. I scheduled a service appointment. The location waiting room is nice and they put out breakfast pastries, coffee and water while you wait, which is a nice touch. However, I had asked for the shuttle van to take me to an off-site location. It never came. 4 hours later they told me that they fixed the car charger but could not fix the bumper sensor until they spoke with headquarters in Europe and they had not been able to reach them. I wasted half of my day and left with the problem unresolved. They could not tell me when to expect an answer and I never received a call from them with an update. Over the next 2 weeks, I left three messages asking for an update without getting a call back. I finally only got an answer about the next step after waiting on hold and insisting that I speak to someone. I am now scheduled to drop the car off to leave with them for several days so they can work with headquarters to identify the problem. Really disappointed in my first Volvo experience. More
