It was difficult to contact service to make an appointment due to a “full mail box” on the appointment scheduling extension. After calling a general number and pressing an extension not intended for appointments ,I was able to speak to a very polite young lady that assisted in booking my appointment. I needed a tire replaced using the Tire and Rim service plan I paid additional money for when I purchased my new vehicle. I also requested that the companion tire be replaced so I could have two new tires so that the vehicle would be balanced and wear evenly. I did not received any updates from the service department during the day while my vehicle was in the service department and had to call myself to find out that my vehicle was “ready”. When I arrived my service coordinator was on the phone, so I went to reception to request my invoice and pay for the tire not covered by the Tire and Rim plan. There I was told that no money was due. They had decided I did not need to replace the tire.without consulting me. I was very upset because I had told the service department what I wanted and they made a decision about my vehicle that was not their’s to make for me. They should have called to discuss it with me. As it was closing time for the service department and I could not leave my vehicle for another day I had to leave with only one tire replaced, which was not acceptable . More
