Dear CHINALEX2012, Sorry to hear that the check engine light is on in your vehicle. If the light is blinking, please let us know and we will take in the vehicle immediately. A blinking check engine light indicates a major malfunction that should be addressed now. If the light is solid, then yes, making an appointment is appropriate. We use an appointment system to minimize the wait time for clients at the service facility. We will not know until inspection of the vehicle if the light is related to the oil change that was performed, but one of the most common causes of a check engine light is a loose gas cap, something that is easily checked and resolved. The gas cap is involved in correct pressurization of the fuel delivery system. If the check engine light is related to the earlier oil change, I apologize in advance for the inconvenience. Either way, hopefully we can meet your expectations in the future.
